If you were to buy a Porsche, which would you choose, the 911, Panamera, or Boxster?

A female version of Kazuo Shimizu.

The other day my husband showed my blog to his brother, who is a car enthusiast.

"This is just like Kazuo Shimizu, isn't it?"

I heard he said. You are absolutely right... It is obvious from this blog that I am a Porsche lover. So, let me tell you that I, who am not as car savvy as my car geek husband, but am more interested in cars than the average woman, have a lot of interest in Porsches.

If you were asked to choose between a Porsche 911, Boxster, or Panamera, what would you choose?

...and then I thought about it.(What kind of situation is that?)

What is my driving history for each car?

By the way, as for the driving history of each car model.

[911].1 driving and 5 passenger days(Five days? W)
When we traveled to Germany, I rode in the passenger seat of my husband's 911 and drove it along the autobahn and the Romantic Road. I also test drove one once at a dealership.

Boxster MT5 times for driving, approx. 10 times for passenger
My husband's Boxster GTS is a manual car, so it still can't start on a slope, and he was only able to drive the Ashiyu Driveway in Karoji. By the way, I have only driven it in 4th gear.

Panamera.2 years of operation
I drove my previous late model 970 Panamera Edition and my current 971 Panamera Turbo on various roads. I would say that they have covered a total of about 20,000 kilometers.

But I think this is a completely Panamera-biased evaluation, and even if we talk about 911s, for example, there are differences depending on the model: normal, Targa, Cabriolet, Turbo, 4S, etc., and Boxster also differs depending on whether it is a manual or PDK car, and whether it is a 718 or 981. Boxster also depends on whether it is a manual or PDK, and whether it is a 718 or a 981.

But there is no end to it, so I will consider the 9114S, Boxster GTS (MT), and Panamera Turbo as a comparison of the cars I have driven.

How would you describe it in ★?

(1) Ease of driving

911:★★★★★
Boxster:★★★★
Panamera:★★★★
(The 911 was easy to drive. The 911 is easy to drive, and the size, handling, and acceleration work are great. The Panamera is so big that it was scary at first.)

(2) Small turnaround

911:★★★★★
Boxster:★★★★★
Panamera:★
(The Panamera is still a giant at over 5 meters long and almost 2 meters wide.)

(iii) Sense of speed

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★★
Panamera:★★★★
(It still can't compare to the feeling of driving a convertible, of being one with the wind.)

(4) Overtaking, ejection, and interruptions at high speeds (not at all = 5)

911:★★★★★
Boxster:★★★★★
Panamera:★★★★★
(I mean, I've never been ridden in a Porsche.)

(5) The rate at which the car in front of me will move in front of me in the overtaking lane on the highway, even if there is a large distance between us.

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★★
Panamera:★★★★
(I feel that the Boxster is much more comfortable than the Panamera. Maybe it's because it's louder.)

(6) Engine sound

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★★
Panamera:★★★★★
(The Boxster is a GTS and manual, so I like the bob-bob-bob when downshifting. The Panamera Turbo has a very nice acceleration sound, the sound of the engine when it is cold, and the bass sound when the engine is running. But I guess that's a matter of taste.)

(7) Passenger seat comfort

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★
Panamera:★★★★★
(If you are used to the spaciousness and smoothness of the Panamera, when you drive a 911 or Boxster, you will feel some vibration and also the distance between you and the driver is very close. )

(viii) Mountain road

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★★
Panamera:★★★★
(I once read an article about a Mercedes-Benz S-Class and how it made you very drunk when you drove it on a mountain road, but a Porsche never does that.)

(9) Daughters' favorites

911:Not owned
Boxster:★★★★
Panamera:★★★★★
(The Boxster seems to be pleasant and fun because of the open roof, and the Panamera seems to be spacious and comfortable.)

10) Rear seat ride comfort

911:★
Boxster: no rear seat
Panamera:★★★★★
(The back seat of 911 is too narrow. Maybe not for upper elementary school age kids?)

⑫Rural National Highway

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★
Panamera:★★★★★
(I think 911 and Panamera have similar ride quality. (I think Boxster is more comfortable on winding roads and mountain roads.)

⑬ Highway

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★
Panamera:★★★★★
(Panamera is the strongest on the highway. It is like a green car of Shinkansen Nozomi. I've never been in a green car before.)

⑭Street Riding

911:★★★★
Boxster:★
Panamera:★★★★
(I had a hard time with the Boxster manual every time I stopped at a traffic light. This is completely my driving skill problem...but the Panamera is simply too fuel-efficient. (By the way, the city driving is 4.0, but it is not marked as less than 4.0, so it might actually be 3 or so...))

(15) Parking lot

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★
Panamera:★
(Boxster is a little low, so parking on a rock board is scary. Panamera is out for parking under 1900, almost impossible to park in town, hard to find a parking spot.)

⑯Total Rating

911:★★★★
Boxster:★★★★
Panamera:★★★★★

Well, in short, it depends on what you want from a car, and it also depends on your current family structure. The 911 is easy to drive, comfortable on the highway, and fun on mountain roads, but the back seat is virtually non-existent."-ist (used after a noun indicating someone's occupation, pursuits, disposition, etc.)It feels good to drive in the open, mountain roads and winding roads are great fun, and only two people can fit in the Boxster."orThe Panamera is not fuel-efficient, has trouble finding a parking space, and is not very maneuverable, but it seats four people comfortably, is comfortable on highways, is fun on mountain roads, and offers a variety of driving experiences.Or you can use it as a...

I guess it would be like that. For me right now, I would choose the Panamera because I value being able to enjoy driving with the whole family. I will ask my husband about the comparison and evaluation of each car next time.
