I was driving my Panamera in a torrential downpour and the "PSM failure, service required" sign...

First oil change for Panamera

Today, I am to have Mr. H, the dealer representative, come to my house to pick up my Panamera for an oil change. The Panamera's body is quite dirty, partly due to the last typhoon.

Navy blue is a very noticeable color for dirt. Oh, I guess it was quite noticeable even in the previous white color. So, the mileage is 1467km since the delivery until now.

My husband had told me in advance that he wanted to change the oil after about 1000 km of mileage, so I guess it was about the right time. AndThis time, they will be asked to look at PSM failure as well.

In fact, on my way home from Fuji Speedway the other day, I suddenly received this warning.

PSM failure Maintenance required Drive carefully.

I was driving on the highway for a while, with my husband taking over driving from me, when suddenly this warning appeared on the meter, which startled me.I was driving with ACC at the time and it instantly deactivated and then the switch didn't work either!. When I pulled into a nearby PA, turned off the engine completely, and restarted it a short while later, the display disappeared and the warning has not appeared since then, so the dealer says it must be a malfunction...

Panamera hates me?

Whenever I drive my Panamera, weird things happen. Deer suddenly appear, cats on the hood, PSM failure warnings, etc., and to be honest, lately I've been so scared that I don't drive my Panamera at all.

I wonder if Panamera hates me....

I think I'll take the Panamera after this initial inspection to have a look at things and settle down a bit... Instead, my husband likes the Panamera Turbo a lot and uses it every day when he goes to work. And every time he comes home.

"Oh no, it's a really great car!" "It's a really nice car!"

He is a big fan of the Panamera. When my husband drives the Panamera, he says it is in great shape. However, my husband has not driven his original partner, the Boxster GTS, for the past few weeks, and I'm starting to feel a little sorry for the Boxster. I hope he is not sulking.

I wish I could drive this Boxster, but since this Boxster is a MT version, I won't drive it. I mean, I even got my AT license so that I could drive a Boxster. It slid off at the start of a hill andI stopped on a public street with my hazards on, andAfter the trauma of being super inconvenienced by the cars behind me.Now I don't drive anymore.

Furthermore, the Boxster is a two-seater, so I can't go to practice unless I ask someone to babysit my two children. I am so freaked out that I honestly can't motivate myself to go that far to practice right now.

This year's resolution came to naught...

Come to think of it, at the beginning of the yearThis year I will be able to drive a manual car!"My husband said, "I think it would be funny if youtube a video of a super amateur driving a manual Boxster and saying "wow"...but that's impossible because he would die of bubbles.

Anyway, after the oil change and the first inspection, when the Panamera Turbo comes back without any problems, I would like to go touring again when the weather is nice.(Though I hear it's going to rain again this weekend...)
