This past Sunday morning, a couple went to Ashiu Driveway for the first time in a long time.It's been four months since I've been to Ashi Ari on a Sunday morning.On this day, the weather at the foot of the mountain showed signs of spring, but it was still cold at the observatory on the Ashiu Driveway.
Various cars were gathered at the observatory, but as expected, the Porsche rate was high here.Come here on a Sunday morning and you are sure to see Porsches old and new, as well as some rare ones.
The day also featured a colorful array of Porsches, including Crayon's new 911 (992), 928GT, air-cooled 911, and Boxster.
Every time I see a "I wonder what kind of cars we will see today!One of the joys of visiting Ashiyu Driveway is the feeling of excitement as you head out on the road.
On this day, I was able to greet and talk with everyone, including everyone I see regularly and readers of my blog. I often find that many Porsche owners
The charm of Porsche is not only the cars, but also the owners, who are friendly and nice people.
You say, "I am a good person," and I really thought that was true even on this day.
Many people, especially those who go out of their way to get up early in the morning and pay a toll to gather at the observation deck, are pure car enthusiasts!So I am sure we all have a lot to talk about.
And the owners told each other about the difference in engine sound between the bare 992 model and the S on this day.(They say it doesn't change that much.)The conversation was endless, from the upcoming launch of the 992 Turbo S, to the daylight in the Boxster, to air-cooled engines, and so on.
(Really, everyone loves cars, don't they?)
By the way, the other day I had a chance to talk with a Porsche owner and his wife, and I was impressed by what she said.
My husband bought a Porsche and invited me to go touring with his friends for the first time, so I went along with him.I thought that if my husband would expand his circle of friends like this, I would feel safer as a wife.
And. That's for sure.(Of course, there are Porsche drivers of all stripes.)
Back when I wasn't interested in cars at all.The image of luxury cars is that of "fancy and fashionable people.I had not been to Ashiu for a long time because I am not good at going to such gatherings. I am not good at going to gatherings of such people, so I did not go to Ashiu very often, but(I didn't go for several years, even though my husband kept asking me to.)I was surprised at how different it was from the image I had when I actually went there and talked with everyone there.
Many of them drove Porsches because they genuinely liked cars and loved Porsche as a car, and many of them were friendly and at ease, including their clothes and atmosphere.(Well, I guess that means we're all nerds. W)
My husband used to get this one too.
When you drive a car with a high level of taste like a Porsche, that alone can expand your network and friendships considerably.Especially in my case, since I bought an air-cooled 964, I think it's spread out even further.
Many Porsche owners really like the car itself. Whenever someone opens the engine compartment, a circle always forms there. And, when you see a "I'm not sure if it's aIf this was an earlier model, it would be aluminum and say...", "Parts here break so often that...and other mechanical topics continue.
When it comes to cars made by other manufacturers, I don't see such a scene very often. I think that many Porsche owners like the car itself and its performance. I also get along well with such people.
