My husband was the one who wasA follow-up article to the recent Boxster touring reportHe wrote the article. Please take a look if you like.

To Bandaisan by Boxster

The morning greeted us in Aizuwakamatsu City with clear skies. According to the weather forecast, the weather was expected to hold through the morning.

Previously. When I came to Aizuwakamatsu, I visited the Inawashiro Lake area, but I did not go to Mt.This is a spot I was hoping to visit the next time I come back.

I left the hotel early, bought a cup of coffee at a nearby convenience store, and ran up the Bandaisan Gold Line. It was early in the morning, so there were no cars on the road. While carefully shifting gears and adjusting RPMs in sport modeThe car runs through a number of uphill corners.

The exhaust sound from the sport exhaust is pleasant.

Bandaisan.Bandaisan Gold Line, Bandai-Azuma Lake Line, Bandai-Azuma Skylineand three main famous roads, all of which are great, butPersonally, I like the gold line best.

On the way, Lake Inawashiro can be seen in the rearview mirror at various places. We parked the Boxster at a parking lot along the way and took a break. It was a great view.

At K64, the road heads north along the west shore of Lake Hibara, with the lake on the right, and a wonderful pleasant ride continues. The Boxster's top was left open, of course. It was a super comfortable cruise. The contrast between the blue of the lake and the blue of the sky is beautiful.

Feeling all of this with all of your senses, you circle around the lakeside as if you were slowly flowing.

On the way.Stop by the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art.I had seen a photo of a Porsche taken in front of this museum on a social networking service and had added a star to Google Maps, hoping to someday visit this spot for a photo shoot. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather that day, making it a perfect day for a photo shoot.

unseasonal snow

While driving along the Bandai-Azuma Lake Line at a brisk pace, we reached the Bandai-Azuma Skyline. At this time, the weather suddenly turned bad. In sharp contrast to the previous day, large drops of rain were falling from the sky, which was shrouded in a cloud cover.

If you find yourself in a situation where youMAZDA6 (Atenza) owners club? I got mixed up in the ranks of theThe Boxster, flanked by MAZDA6s on both the front and rear sides, was running up the Bandai-Azuma Skyline with narrow shoulders.

The elevation is said to be about 1600 meters at its highest point, and as the elevation increased, the rain turned to mist and finally, near the summit, it began to snow, and a lot of it.

As you gain elevation, you can't see what's in front of you, and the road seems to be piling up in thin air.The outside temperature finally reached 0°C, and I began to fear that the road surface would freeze if the temperature remained at this level.

Driving carefully, we managed to reach near the top. We thought we would wait and see how it went for a while, but it would be bad if it continued to snow any longer. Since there was no choice but to descend from here, we decided that the temperature would rise and the snow would calm down, so we headed down toward Fukushima City.

I drove the Boxster, thinking that it would be a beautiful scenic road in good weather. Sure enough, as we descended in elevation, the snow turned to rain and then to sunshine at the foot of the mountain.

From Fukushima to Kaminoyama City

From Fukushima City, drive to K46 and then to R113, and take K13 toward Kaminoyama City. This K13 is quite a pleasant road. The road is wide and well paved. There is a winding section along the way, although it is a bit narrow at some parts. The Boxster is driven briskly, making full use of third and fourth gears.

However, theThe Boxster is fun no matter how much you drive it.

."What is the fun in driving so much on mountain roads? Some readers may wonder, "What is it aboutWhat fun is there in skiing or snowboarding down a slope? It is the same as saying, "I'm not going to do it.

Driving a Boxster on a mountain road is essentially the same pleasure as skiing or snowboarding down a slope in an exhilarating manner. It is the same kind of thing.

So.Every time there is winding, you feel as if you are getting off the lift and gliding exhilaratingly down the slopes! The first is the "I" in "I".

We had no intention of coming to Yamagata City, but somehow, we ended up driving through the city and lost a little time. On the way there, we passed by a "Tendo WoodworksI found a sign that said "Tendo Woodworks" and remembered that the wood paneling on my old Honda Legend was made by Tendo Woodworks, and then I remembered something unimportant. Is there a Tendo Woodworking here!I was impressed as I passed through Yamagata City.

Pleasant road, Yamagata Prefectural Road No. 30

And then...Enter K30 and head for Shinjo City.At first, I chose K30 without much expectation, but it turned out to be the right route. The traffic was minimal, and it was a pleasant route running along the Mogami River.

It is a country road with moderate curves and is very enjoyable. Moreover, it is easy to overtake on the road, and you can drive at your own pace. It was a pleasant road to end the day with a good distance.

Tomorrow, the plan is to head north toward Morioka, but I don't know much about this area, so I went to sleep while carefully studying the area with Touring Maple.
