So far, I have never been caught in a violation using GR-81, GR-91, GR-99L and a GPS radar detector without a screen LCD.
You may feel uneasy if you don't have an LCD screen and no radio reception function, but you can feel nervous in a good way because you rely only on voice.It will tell you whether or not radio waves or lasers are emitted, so it is easier to drive safely.
