My Family's Car Life

More Porsches in addition to SWIFT Sport?

Swissport is a car that runs alone.

The other day, my husband was on a business trip and came home after driving 150 km round trip, including the expressway, in his Swissport car.

Swissport is a car for one person. Today, I drove with two people on the way there and one person on the way back, and the ride was completely different.
I rode alone and it was a lot of fun and a very well made car.

And.

My husband would rather go on a "public road" than on aDifferences in driving on highwaysHe told us that "the first time I saw the "Mere Old Man" was remarkable.

When the two of us were riding together, the ground feel was a little weak and the suspension felt a little unstable, but on the way home, riding alone on the highway, he saidThe ground feel was enhanced, the suspension was stable, there was no fear at all even when driving at a certain speed, acceleration was fast and lively, and it felt like a completely different car. This was the case.

I had never driven a Swissport by myself on a medium distance or highway before, so I was really surprised today. When I drove with my family of five, the weight of the car made the suspension sink down and it was like the suspension couldn't do a good job....When I rode alone, the suspension worked well with the road conditions and even the handling seemed different.Once again I thought it was a very nice car.

And.

Yes, that's right. When driven alone, Swissport's light weight of less than one ton is fully utilized to its fullest, and it runs surprisingly lively and powerful.

It is really nice to steer it with a MT.

I thought about this as I listened to my husband's story.

Swisspo, Porsche, more cars?

In the past, every time I heard about owners around me, including my husband, adding more cars to their fleet.

."Heh... one car is enough for me... you must really like cars..."

I honestly thought it was a good idea.

So when I buy a Porsche myself in the future, I'll be able to say, "I'm going to buy a Porsche.Let's sell the SWIFT Sport and use some of the money to buy a Porsche. He thought, "I'm not going to be able to do that.

Recently, however, my thinking has changed.

It would be a shame to sell this SWIFT Sport (this model may be the last pure gasoline-powered Swissport). If I let it go, I will regret it later. And I would like to drive a MT car once in a while if possible. So I want to keep this SWIFT Sport on hand forever."

And.

Then we would have to increase the number of cars... When I said this to my husband, he said, "I'm sorry.Yeah! That's it! That's it!He said (laughs).

In what situations and on what kind of roads can the car be driven to get the most out of it...

That naturally varies from car to car.One unit, fulfilling all your needs.Recently, I have come to think that it is quite difficult to find a "good" one.

In my case, I chose Swisspo because

."Able to carry 3 children (5 passengers) + solid performance + fun MT car + compact body + budget"

So, I had to choose Swisspo, but just one of them.Fun to run on my own.I put a lot of emphasis on the "I'm not satisfied" part, so when I ride with my family, I find some parts of my life unfulfilled. (Humans are greedy...)

However, if you want more horsepower and power, your budget will go up, and then you'll want a comfortable ride.If it's this comfortable, I'd like the interior to be a little more luxurious.I think that the desire for a larger car will gradually lead to a car with a larger width, and since it cannot be used on a daily basis, it will end up not being an option... It's a circle that goes on and on (laughs).

So, besides the idea of finding one unit that satisfies allI guess there is also the option of using different cars for different purposes.I have recently come to realize that this is not the case.

In fact, since the beginning of this blog, I've been working on the "Buy your own PorscheI am now seriously considering the realization of my goal of "getting a new Porsche". The repayment of the Swissport is scheduled to end at the end of this month, and now that I have some idea of the type and specifications of the Porsche I want, it seems that the choice to increase the number of cars will become more colorful (although it is still too early to order one, so it is still a long way off).

I was not interested in cars at all at first, but now I am thinking of buying a MT car or adding a new car to my collection... I feel a little scared that my car-loving husband is brainwashing me more and more, without my knowing it.
