Ease of driving and handling

When the accelerator pedal is depressed, the engine is so smooth and easy to handle that it is hard to believe that it is an OHV engine of over 6 liters, and the sensation is as light as a torquey 3-liter class engine.

As is typical of large-displacement NA engines, torque is full from low rpm, yet torque fluctuations are extremely small. The torque is directly proportional to the accelerator pedal position and rpm, and is very natural and easy to handle, making it easy to drive in a stop-and-go environment in town.

8-speed DCT and engine sound and power

The 8-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) is set to manual mode and shifting is done with paddles. This DCT is quite good. The shifting response and sharpness are very good, and the shifting sound is wonderful. This DCT is quite good. It is a world away from the transmission in certain supercars that are much more expensive than the Corvette, and compared to the PDK, it is more refined than the 991.1 and 981, and you can think of it as being as close to the PDK in the 991.2 and 718 as possible.

6.2L V8 NA engine. According to the owner, a lot of simple plastic is used in places, and no costs were incurred in these areas.

The feeling of rotation when the driver steps on the pedal is, as one would expect from a vehicle with such a large displacement, a heavy rotation. However, the rotation itself is smooth, and there is no impression that it does not want to turn.

I'm curious about the sense of power, but to give you an honest impression of what I felt during the test drive, I'd say, "It's not that much more powerful.I'd say around 400 hp.I thought, 'I'm not going to be able to do that. ' After the test drive, I learned that it was 502 hp, 637 Nm.I didn't feel that sense of power.

The reason is that I've been driving a lot of high-performance turbocharged cars lately.Sometimes we're used to the instantaneous power of turbo power.I think it would be, and I think it is largely a matter of torque production and gear ratio. However, it is not slow, as it accelerates from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, the manufacturer's published acceleration time. Since we only tested intermediate acceleration this time, the sharpness of the torque rise is inevitably mild, so I think we just felt it from our experience.

With that in mind, I think this Corvette is a viable option.
