Porsche Panamera Tire Replacement - Michelin Pilot Sport 4 Impressions

Try PS4 at Ashi Ari

After that, my husband wanted to do a proper review, so he went all the way to Ashiu early in the morning before work, peeled (broke in) the tires, and tried various things with the tires peeled (laugh), so here are his impressions.

air pressure (of tires)

The air pressure is the same as that of the Panamera Turbo's 21-inch summer tires, "Standard pressureThe Pirelli was a little more bouncy than the Pirelli, but it was a little more comfortable than the Pirelli. I would say that it feels as if a little too much air has been added. Perhaps it is because the weight of this tire is lighter than the Pirelli. This tire has a "Pirelli" tire.comfort pressureOr, if we go with standard pressure, it seems to me that another 0.2-0.3 bar or so lower would be just about right.

Difference from Pirelli

One obvious difference between Pirelli andFairly good initial responsiveness. It is. I agree, minus the fact that the Pirelli grooves were pretty much gone. At least Pirelli didn't move like this when the car was new. Michelin, on the other hand, did. When I turn the wheel, the front turns quickly and without a pause, and curves are very enjoyable.

grip (e.g. of hand)

I was really surprised when I drove the Boxster with the 4S on the Fuji Speedway. The grip on the Pilot Sport 4 system is pretty good.I think. Of course, if we're talking grip alone, a domestic runner's tire would probably be better, butThe grip while achieving this quietness, ride comfort, etc. is impressive.I think.

When cornering at low speeds with the Panamera Turbo's massive body, with about 1.1G of lateral Gs, the Pirelli was zipping along, while the PSM was slightly putting control. In the case of the Michelin, it turns as it is and shows no sign of idling even when exiting a curve with a considerable amount of torque.

I feel comfortable going around curves and the feeling of turning without any displacement is pleasant. I think I feel like I can properly use the Panamera's chassis performance.

Panamera, yeah!

Finally, my husband was

It's been a while since I've revved the engine and stepped on the Panamera. That's a really nice car.(LOL) The V8 engine is so much smoother than when it was new. I didn't think it would turn that easy until red. It seemed like it could still turn more than that. The potential of that engine is not like this.I think. I think they're still hiding their real power.
I wonder if this engine would be used in the new Panamera, which is a late model 971, or in other cars of the VW group, with higher power.

He said.

That's amazing - I don't feel quite as informed as my husband, but now that I've changed the tires, I'd like to take the Panamera out for a long drive once again, although I'm also concerned about the mileage.
