My Family's Car Life

The story of a young boy who loves cars, and how we gave him a ride in our Porsche to make his dream come true.

Second daughter goes to school in a Porsche

Our second daughter is currently attending kindergarten, and my husband drives her to school in the morning. Sometimes she requests for a car, so almost every day she goes to school in a different car. (How envious I am...)

Then one day, my husband came home from dropping off our daughter.

When I drop him off at kindergarten in the morning, there is a boy who often looks at me and waves. He seems to like cars a lot. He's a boy in the same class as me.
."I'll give you a ride some other time!He said, "I'll talk to her mother again. Talk to her mother again.

He said.

."Oh, yeah, okay. I'll talk to you next time.I was just about to answer, "I'm sorry," but I forgot and left it at that.

Did you get a chance to talk to your mom about that? I really wish I could make time to give her a ride one of these days. She's been waving at me every time we go to the park together since then.
Still small. The experience of riding in and touching a car that you admire when you are still in a sensitive period of your lifeI think it is very important. It can change your life.
Mr. Maezawa is working on a super car project, and I think it is very meaningful to give children such an opportunity.

He said.

Indeed... "I'm sure..."When I was a child, I went to see an F1 race at the Suzuka Circuit and decided to become a racer.I seem to hear a lot of stories about people who say, "I was impacted as a child," and how that impacted them greatly in their future.

When I think about it, I must have lived in a daze, because I don't remember having any big impact on my childhood at all... (-_-)

Later, he told the boy's mother, "My husband would love to give him a ride in our car.I tell them, "I'm sorry.

Really! In fact, your husband told me that he had been "in the process ofI'll let you drive my Porsche again in the future.I was very happy to hear that. My son loves cars, probably due to the influence of my car-loving husband, and he was always coloring Porsche and Lamborghini coloring books at home....
He's all worked up about writing a letter to your husband after that, so I'll give it to you another time!

and received a letter later in the day.

She usually colors like this at home.

There, along with a nicely painted and colorful Porsche, was the "Please put it on Poroshi. From XXThe message "I'm sorry, but I can't help it.

Too cute...(T_T)

My husband was so impressed with the letter that we arranged a time to take him for a ride in the Porsche at Ashiu Driveway.

Fulfilling the dream of a car-loving boy

."Which Porsche would you like to drive?I asked him beforehand, and he requested a 911 Cabriolet, so we planned to go with two cars that day: a 911 Cabriolet (992) and a Cayenne.

And I was in touch with your mother that morning.

My son was looking forward to it with fingers crossed, and this morning at 5:00 a.m., he said, "I'm going toToday is my day to ride in a Porsche! He woke me up by saying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

The reply was....

."If they're looking forward to it so much, let's go with the 911 Cabriolet and the Boxster GTS! Let's have them drive both! So, we decided to pick up the Boxster at the parking lot in front of the station and head there.

Fortunately, the day was blessed with beautiful weather, and with the roof open, parents and children were able to ride in the 911 Cabriolet and Boxster, and fathers had a great time talking cars with each other, and the whole family had a wonderful time.(Mom got to ride in my MT Boxster, which I drove.)

By the way, I asked him which he liked better after driving the 911 Cabriolet or the Boxster GTS.I liked the Boxster GTS.I guess so. I wonder if the sound of the engine was still pleasant?

Although it was before the state of emergency was declared, we decided not to stay long and headed home. When we parted, I gave them Porsche goods as souvenirs, including a Porsche key chain, a Porsche flag, and a catalog.

Then later, the boy's mother told me

My son was so happy that he immediately put the key chain on his kindergarten bag! My husband was also inspired by Mina's driving.I was more interested in driving my wife in a Porsche than I was in driving a Porsche myself.and I may go for a limited lifting too (laughs).

(laughs).

My husband, too.

I'm so glad she's happy! I don't think there are many kids who love cars that much. I hope she grows up to be an adult while cherishing the feelings she has now!
Also, I'd love it if you could come to Ashiu on Sunday mornings when all the sports cars are there!

He said happily.

As they grow up, they may possibly lose interest in cars, but I hope that they will cherish the pure feelings they have now and grow up.

I'll do my best!
