How to buy a Porsche

The first Porsche I signed up for... a Porsche 911 Carrera T!

Porsche 911 Carrera T

As the title says.My contract, my first Porsche, became a Porsche 911 Carrera T (992.1).

It just so happens that the Carrera T frame was awarded, and we had been keeping it under wraps until we could tell you about it on the blog, but now that the status has finally been put into production, we are happy to report it on the blog.

Carrera T is a pure sports car that has been stripped of various elements to achieve lightweight and simplicity.

In 2017, when the Carrera T returned with the 991 model, Porsche's newsroom said, "Less is moreIt is a very genuine 911, which is impressive that it was introduced under the title of "The 911.

Currently, the "Track your Dream" service of "My Porsche" seems to be able to keep track of the current status (production and delivery status) of the Porsche you have ordered.

."Still only for Porsches made in Zuffenhausen."Only 911 and 718 models are available.I wonder if the number of target car models is increasing from time to time.

As for my Carrera T, I kept accessing and checking every day to see "what's the status now" and "has production started?" (even though nothing changes when I look at it every day like that) Finally, the status is now in production!

I'm still so excited when this happens...!

So far, things are proceeding according to the schedule that was stated when I first accessed MyPorsche, but I don't know what will happen in the future, so I will wait patiently and not expect things to be on schedule.

Porsche 911 Carrera T Specifications

My husband has been very excited about the Carrera T this time around.

The Carrera T is a base Carrera with more options than the S. But this time, the options are very limited, so I'm having a hard time choosing..."

He said.

Indeed, for this Carrera T, there is no choice of PDCC or PCCB, and only three wheel options. The chassis is set up with only PASM sport suspension.

By the way, the specifications I chose are as follows

Transmission is 7-speed manual transmission, left-hand drive.
I had always thought, "The 992's PDK is smart, so let's go with PDK," but when it came to the Carrera T, I knew I wanted a left-hand drive MT, so I didn't hesitate to go with the MT.

The interior color is Carrera T Interior Package (contrast color: straight gray).

Adaptive sports seats (18-way electric adjustment) with memory package
If I had to, I thought it would be nice to have a memory function without having to adjust the sheet every time.

Rear Seat
I often travel with three children, so I guess it is a two-seater in the Carrera T sense...but four seats were a must.

Sport Design Package
The 911 Cabriolet that is currently in my house also has the Sport Design Package, and I chose this one because I really like the atmosphere of this car.

Side window trim Black:
Since the body color is crayon, I selected black to match.

Front axle lift system
The PASM sport chassis has a lower ride height, so considering the range of activities in our house (there are many supermarkets and convenience stores with quite a few steps), we decided to keep the lift-up.

Rear Axle Steering: Rear axle steering
I was thinking that it is not necessary to install the rear axle steering as I don't drive hard on roads such as mountain passes and Ashiyu Driveway... but the lightweight Carrera T with the rear axle steering might be very fun to drive...! I took the plunge and put it on. I decided to take the plunge and put it on.

Interior package (painted in the same color as the exterior)
This was a free option, and I put it on because it accentuated the almost completely black interior.

The rest includes 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels in high-gloss titanium gray, LED headlights, Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus), lane change assist, heated GT Sport steering wheel (leather), storage package, speedometer panel in white

It is.

Here's what this did to the price...

Wow almost 20 million !!!!

."I want this one too, let's put that one on, oh, if we're going to put this one on, let's put that one on already...The number of options snowballed and this is the result (explosion).

But it's a spec I'm comfortable with (one thing I'm not sure about is how stiff the sport chassis is...), so all I have to do is earn my money and try to maintain it properly.

We have a rough idea of when the delivery date will be, but we hope to provide more information on our blog as it becomes available.
