Car life during 7 months of pregnancy

Fast forward to now, I am already 7 months pregnant and my belly is getting much bigger, but recentlyI realize that my thought process has changed drastically from what it was before my pregnancy.I really think that the human body is a mysterious thing.

I have always been the type of person who likes new things and challenges, but now I don't feel that way so much anymore. It is as if the male hormones have completely disappeared from my body, and I am now all about female hormones.

When I was pregnant with my first and second children, I was working hard right up until just before the birth, so I felt like I was always on the offensive, but now that the children are home every day due to the coronavirus and it is difficult to get around without going outside, perhaps I am feeling even more like a nest egg.

So now it's as if people have changed."I want to be a better driver.or "I want to drive far away in my favorite car.I felt less inclined to "go home" than before, and more inclined to relax at home.

I am the type of person who just wants to move and always want to be doing something, but I never thought I would be like this...well, changes in motherhood really are a strange thing, aren't they?

What we look for in a car

At the same time, what I look for in a car has changed. I used to be a "Car ride is not very comfortable.I didn't care that much about the "comfort" of the car. Of course, it would be nice to have a comfortable ride, but I prefer a firmer suspension. It's such a great ride, I don't blame them for sacrificing comfort.I often thought, "I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.

However, as my own belly grew, I became quite concerned about the ride. The reason is that "shaking" is very painful when the road surface conditions are not good. The vibrations come directly to my stomach, so I have to strain my stomach each time I ride, which makes it harder for me to ride.

Also, these days I don't drive my Porsche for long distances, just around the neighborhood.I became extra concerned about the ride and comfort at low speeds.

Under these circumstances, I drove a Panamera the other day for the first time in a long time, and I was again impressed by the Panamera's greatness.(I feel like I'm impressed every time I ride it, though.)

The ride is smooth, the air conditioning works quickly, the sunlight streaming through the windows is not hot, and the interior is spacious. I usually drive a manual car.(BMW 320i)I have a habit of putting my left hand on the shift lever even with AT, but the Panamera's shift lever fits my hand when I lightly squeeze it, and it feels very comfortable.(I guess the 992's shift lever is too small to do this.)

With other Porsches, it's "GT3 is nice to drive, but the ride is not."The Boxster is fun, but it's pretty slow to heat up."Air-cooled cars are just too hot inside. The great driving performance of the car, such as the "M", is a bit of a minus in terms of comfort, but(Thanks, though, for the luxury of the environment...)The Panamera is stress-free.

The car is spacious and comfortable. The children also ride meekly without complaining about many things.(This is important.)In this aspect, too, the Panamera is a comfortable and wonderful car for driver and passengers. That is why I want to drive it as long and as far as I can.

While the car is comfortable in town, it is as smooth on the highway as a Shinkansen Nozomi, and when driving on mountain roads, it is as racy as if its huge body had become smaller. The power and acceleration are also perfect.

That's what I'm talking about.Combines driving and comfortIt's a Panamera, wow.

And of course the Panamera is a giant, but these days you often see Cayennes and Mercedes SUVs on narrow roads.Once you get used to this body size, normal roads and parking lots are not a particular concern.(Although I would have to worry about parking and such if I went to Osaka City.)

It has been almost three years since we bought our Panamera. Considering our family's future lifestyle, we decided that we don't need a bigger car, and we talked about replacing the Panamera before the inspection, but the Panamera is a car that can be used in any situation, and now I honestly think that I would like to keep driving it for another 5 or 10 years.

Up to now, more than 4 years(When combined with the Panamera Edition that was previously in our home)I have been looking at the Panamera from all angles, and the more I learn about it, the more I realize that it is a fascinating car that can handle any situation.

Car life from now on

depending on the situation they find themselves in.What we feel when we drive a car and what we want from a car are changing rapidly.Still, I never thought that I, as a car blogger, would be in such a state of mind when I first became pregnant.

On the other hand, I don't think my husband, a car nerd, will ever change... w

I am sure that in the future, values will change and things will happen that I never imagined before. I may be saying this, but after the baby is born, I may be itching to move around, and I may be driving around in a car (laughs).

I hope to continue to enjoy my car life, honestly accepting the changes each time, cherishing the feeling of the moment, and appreciating the current environment.
