Previously, Mr. TAKURO came with me to deliver my Carrera 4 GTS, so this time I decided to accompany him.

Then, the finest 964, which had been polished to a divine degree, was enshrined.
The body is completely fully painted and has no scratches. Moreover, the front part is even covered with a protection film.
The interior has been replaced with even fine rubber, and it is very beautiful.
I wondered if the 964 was like this when it was a new car, and I saw it in 1990 with the feeling of a time slip.

At first, TAKURO, who was nervous about the manual he was not used to, became smoother as he ran the distance. It has a very torquey feel and the freshly assembled engine feels very powerful. The strength when stepping on the accelerator around 3rd gear is fresh.
And then...Above all, the mechanical noise is quiet.It was the quietest of all the 964s I've ever experienced, when I started the engine, when I was idling and when I was driving. This is because many parts are new and the insulators are also new, so it may have a great soundproofing effect.
On the way, when I was running around the city to eat lunch,A CAT warning lights up on the instrument panel.
CAT is an exhaust temperature warning light, which was required by Japanese law at that time, and seems to be unique to Japanese specifications. So, basically, even if it lights up, it seems that it is okay if there is no abnormality in the oil temperature etc., and it seems that most of it is due to the failure of the relay or sensor.
However, turning it on and off is not very good for mental health. For the time being, I contacted the dealer, but decided to run while watching the situation.
Even if you are driving on the highway, the sense of stability is outstanding, and when accelerating, you will want to turn in 3rd or 4th speed, but you will be able to keep up with it and run on the Sanyo Expressway.
On the way, I feel vibration in the steering wheel in a certain speed range.It turned out that the wheel balance was out of order because the vibration subsided when the speed was increased or decreased.The second problem was discovered.

I thought, but since it is air-cooled in the first place, there is no cooling water. Then I thought it was oil, and when I touched it and smelled it, it smelled like gasoline.Yes, gasoline is leaking.
I was impatient with this. I can't start the engine,For the time being, I opened the trunk and peeled off the carpet, and gasoline leaked into the spare tire.This made it impossible to drive, so I immediately arranged a tow truck and contacted the dealer.
For the time being, the 964 had to be sent back to the dealer as it was, and the delivery date was ruined (crying).
