Porsche Boxster

Should it be a bare-bones Boxster? Or should it be a Boxster S?

Contact us to purchase a Boxster

For some time now, I have been receiving frequent inquiries about car purchases on my blog, to which I have responded with my husband's opinion. So this time, I would like to share with youA consultation I received from someone considering buying a Boxster and how my husband responded to it.I hope to be able to introduce you to the following information.

The consultation took the following form.

To make my wish come trueI have decided to buy a 981 Boxster, but can't decide whether to go for the base grade or the S.(I would choose the 981 over the 718 for the engine noise)The following is a list of the most common problems with the "C" in the "C" column.
In my daily work, I mainly use the expressway (Hanshin Expressway's Wangan Route), and on my days off, I would like to drive the Rokko mountain tribway, including Ashiyu, which has been my goal.
That said, I am not particularly a runner or a speed freak, and my wife will be riding as well, so the PDK is the natural choice.
When I thought about it, I decided to run on Ashiu, which is the fastest road in this area, and I thought, "I'm not going to be able to ride on the road.Is it better to be an S or is the base grade sufficient? If anything, would the base one be more fun and pleasant to rev to higher RPMs? Also, what about the fact that I drive on the highway a lot?"
I have never driven a coupe type Porsche before, so I am starting to think about many things and am lost. Could you please give me some advice? (Mr. S)

This was the case.

Indeed, I think I might have quite a bit of trouble when buying any Porsche model as to whether to go with the base grade or the S or higher.

Response from my husband, a Boxster driver.

So what was my husband's response to this?

In terms of driving pleasure itself, a plain Boxster is enough.I think it is. Rather, I can rev the engine and have fun. I think you can enjoy the smaller mountain roads like Ashiu driveway with just the right amount of power.
However, when driving on large winding roads in the Kanto region or driving at high speeds to some extent, it may feel a little underpowered and lackluster.
'So should I go for the S?' But if you're going to buy an S.It seems to me that it would be better to buy a GTS instead.
The GTS is less likely to drop in value than other grades, so it has a higher asset value and is a real cheap ride. And the 981 Boxster GTS sounds really good because it is NA.
Although "No, not quite up to GTS...If you mean "a bare-bones grade with lots of options like Sprocket, Sport Exhaust, etc.," then I'd say that's a good idea.black editionis a good deal.

This was the case.

Afterwards, Mr. S. told me that he had beenThere's a store relatively close by that has a Boxster S and a Boxster Black Edition, so I'm going to go check it out.Not long after that, I received a reply that said

I finally decided on "981S, MY16, PDK, Jet Black" last weekend! It was a really long time. It was the first time for me to have such a hard time choosing a car. It was exhausting. I feel so liberated. The car will be delivered at the end of this month at the earliest. I am itching to drive it.

We have been contacted by the company. Well, congratulations!

There seems to be a lot of information about Porsche on the Internet, but there is surprisingly little real information by owners, so I thought I'd share some of my thoughts with you.I need a push by asking for advice.I wonder if there are many people who say "I don't know.

We are very happy to hear from you when you contact us for consultation and delivery of a car like this, and we would be very happy if you would feel free to continue to send us messages for consultation.
