Porsche Taycan

Sold my Carrera T with 8000km on it. How it came to be and about my next car.

At the end of last year, just before the end of the year, I gave up my 911 Carrera T.

The mileage is 8,000 km.

It was the first time I got my own Porsche with my own money.
We stuck to the specifications and had a great time driving.

I had a lot of trouble until I decided to let it go, and today I would like to tell you why, and about my new beloved car.

Sold Carrera T.

The Carrera T was truly the best car as far as driving goes. It was a great car.
It just didn't fit my current use of the car as well as I would have liked.

This was the conclusion after running 8,000 km while making various efforts.

I spend most of my days driving my three children to and from preschool, to the children's hospital, and to the grocery store.

In daily use within a 5-kilometer radius of my home, I had to take care of many things, including parking issues, children getting carsick, and the risk of scraping the bottom of the car.

Of course, there is nothing at all that prevents me from driving it on a daily basis. It is truly amazing that a sports car can be used so much in everyday life.

However, as I travel with my three children on a daily basis, it is hard to deny that there are some parts of the car that are too much for me to drive as my main car, and since last winter, I have been driving the GLB more and more often. (Not that the Carrera T is bad at all)

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the occasional drive on the highway, and it was blissful to drive alone without the children in the car.

."I want to keep the Carrera T forever. I would definitely regret it if I let it go. But the actual daily use...Every day, I have mixed feelings of "I am a good person, but I am not a good person.

However, I am not buying a Carrera T because I can afford it, but because I am buying all the money I can afford (e.g., I cancelled what I had invested in assets and used it for a down payment...lol).

I began to think that it was a bit unrealistic to own a Carrera T with monthly loan payments in excess of 200,000 yen, even though I don't drive it hard on a regular basis,

'I might as well let this one go. But I'm definitely having fun and I'll regret it."

After struggling with the loop ofIf you're going to let go, the sooner the better. The advice of those around me, "I'm not sure what you want to do with it," led to the sale of the Carrera T at the end of the year.

Taikan 4S Cross Turismo

However...I wanted to continue to own my Porsche. I had strong feelings about this place.

I know I've completely lost my senses already,For me, Porsche is now a motivation to work hard and an important part of my fortune. The company is in the process of becoming a

Since ordering the Carrera T, my awareness of earning has increased, I am more committed to my work, and my income has actually gone up (although it's not quite there yet...).

I also feel that my work luck is improving, and I would like to keep owning Porsches to keep this trend going.

So, what is the best Porsche to drive that fits as well as possible into my current life?

I asked my husband and others around me for their opinions, and quite a few of them told me that theyWouldn't taikan be better? We received the answer "yes".

If that's the way you use your car, the Taikan is probably the right choice for you. It runs great, the kids can ride comfortably, and if you don't usually travel long distances, you don't have to worry so much about recharging the battery.

And.

Taikan...I know it's good...but...If that's the case, I still like the Panamera....

What made me fall in love with Porsche was the Panamera, and even though I've had the opportunity to drive a lot of different cars.I wish I could drive a Panamera again."I always had the feeling that this was a good idea. So there,

A hybrid model of the Panamera would be sufficient for city driving on electric power alone and would be easy to use. Of course there is the size issue, but it won't scrape the bottom, the kids can ride comfortably, and parking at hospitals and other places can be done in a GLB. Let's go with the Panamera!

And decide,

Our dealer representative, Mr. H, has just helped us find a used Panamera hybrid system,He found a beautiful Panamera 4e-Hybrid in good condition.

Then, my husband and I immediately went to the store to take a look... but here was an unexpected surprise.

I fell in love at first sight with the ice gray metallic Taikan 4S Cross Turismo that was displayed in front of the store, and my heart was instantly captured.

Later, when I was allowed to look at the Panamera in the back, I still could not forget the Taikan displayed in front of the store, and after much consideration, I ended up purchasing this Taikan.

No way...no way.

This will allow the monthly loan payment to be much lower than with the Carrera T (of course, resale will not be so good), and now the whole family will be able to drive it comfortably.

The children who actually rode in the back seat of the Taikan were "This is the best car I've ever driven! It's so comfortable and the seats are deep and easy to sit in.He was overjoyed with the "I'm so happy to be able to do this.

It has been about a month since I sold the Carrera T. I wanted to write this blog with the next exit found, so the timing was right.

From now on, I hope to report again on my blog about the charging environment in Taikan, while also taking long drives from time to time.

We would like to discuss the delivery of the car, the specifications of the Taikan, and our first impressions in a separate article.
