Porsche Boxster

I want to be able to drive a Porsche Boxster GTS MT.

First MT Boxster GTS in a long time

The other day, I drove the Boxster GTS (981, MT) for the first time in a while in the Ashiu Driveway. Since I usually travel with my children, I don't drive a sports type Porsche very often, so this was also my first Boxster drive in several months.

I have written extensively about the Boxster GTS being a good car.So today I would like to write about a slightly different perspective than usual.

This time, after driving a manual Boxster for the first time in a long time, I was impressed.PDK is right for me, not MT.I felt that the "I'm a good person.

It was a great joy to finally be able to drive a MT car after having gone from not being able to drive one for so long, to practicing, buying my own MT car, and driving it every day.

The feeling of being in control was pleasant.MT is still the best. The other day, he felt that "theI think PDK would be a better fit for me.I thought for the first time, "I'm not going to be able to do that.

The reason for this was that I was getting ridiculously bad at shifting gears... (tears)

stillI feel like I'm going to stall when starting off, and every time I shift gears I get a jolting shock."However, I could no longer downshift before a corner, accelerate or upshift after exiting a corner, or drive in a rhythmical and crisp manner.

In a straight line, about to turn a corner, "IOh, the straight line was longer than I thought it would be.I would shift up for some reason and then immediately downshift, or conversely, I would shift without changing gears for a long time and then shift back to the starting gear. The manual makes no sense at all...I have been driving a car for a long time....

I remember the course of Ashiu Driveway to some extent because I have driven it dozens of times.Next is this corner." "The curves here are pretty tight. You know that you know what to do, but you can't breathe with the car as well as you would like.

In that regard, "theI think I might enjoy driving more if I let the smart PDK do the driving for me!I thought, "I'm not going to be able to do that.

Remember how to run.

When I got home, I told my husband that

I drove a Boxster today for the first time in a while, and it was a very nice car, and it was fun to open it up and drive it with the MT... but I was so bad at shifting gears that I couldn't drive it as I wanted to.
I only drive a manual transmission car a few times a year these days. That would make me a terrible driver.

My husband would say.

I guess so. PreviousHe was driving a MT 320i (BMW).I guess I was more familiar with MT driving because I drove it every day, but that's not the case now.
Well, once you're able to ride a manual transmission, I don't think you'll ever forget the "manual transmission operation" itself.Maybe they've forgotten "how to run."
Once I drove him down the Ashiu Driveway with me, and he sat in the passenger seat.'Where do I upshift, where do I brake, where do I upshift?'I think it would help me get a sense of what it's like to be a part of the world.

This was the case.

You're right...I've completely forgotten how to "run". (TheMaybe I'm also still a bit dragging from the fact that I scraped my Cayenne the other day...)

If I could run better, it would be fun. I want to somehow regain my senses and be able to run like I did back then.

Just as the couple was talking about this, to their surprise!Well, I just got word from my dealer that my MT car finally has a production date!

Finally...!

Production will be finished in mid-September, and the cars will be delivered as early as the end of September.

The car I ordered was.Emblem-less or decal-applied specificationsI am relieved to know that the car will be delivered in October, since I have already set the date for the delivery.

I placed the order in mid-April and thought the car would be delivered in June, but I never thought I would have to wait this long... (laughs)

When the MT car arrives, I am sure I will drive it every day, so I will work hard on my rehabilitation so that I can regain my senses and enjoy driving the Boxster again.
