The project turned the Cayenne Turbo GT, a high-performance SUV, into a minivan with power sliding doors. By extending the frame, the builders created a one-of-a-kind vehicle that combines minivan practicality with the performance Porsche is known for—two qualities that might seem at odds at first glance.
A Matching “His & Hers” Pair, Made Their Way
Zuckerberg didn’t just have a Cayenne Turbo GT converted into a minivan for his wife; he also customized a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring for himself. Both cars were finished in the same shade of Slate Grey, creating a matching pair built around the “His & Hers” concept.

On Instagram, Zuckerberg wrote: “New side quest. Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’m pretty sure we should design one that ought to exist: the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan. Also added a manual GT3 Touring to make it His & Hers.”
Porsche’s Minivan Concept
Porsche has, in fact, officially unveiled a minivan concept. In 2020, the company revealed the “Porsche Vision Renndienst,” a minivan concept with seating for up to six. Conceived in 2018, the idea was to offer generous family-friendly space while retaining Porsche’s distinctive performance DNA.

Zuckerberg’s Cayenne Turbo GT-based minivan could be seen as a way of bringing that concept to life. Combining Porsche DNA with everyday practicality, it’s likely to catch the attention of plenty of Porsche owners.
The Performance Behind the Cayenne Turbo GT
The previous-generation Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Coupe that Zuckerberg chose as the base vehicle is renowned for its performance. According to the article, it set five MotorTrend SUV performance records, including 0–60 mph acceleration and quarter-mile time.
The model is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 640 horsepower. It also features Porsche’s Sport Chrono Package and launch control, torque-vectoring all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, active anti-roll bars, carbon-ceramic brakes, rear-axle steering, and 22-inch ultra-high-performance tires. In other words, it’s packed with the latest technology.
The Cayenne Turbo GT Coupe started at $197,950 in the U.S. (about ¥29.7 million), and the price could exceed $200,000 (about ¥30 million) with options. Since Zuckerberg’s custom minivan carries the cost of the conversion on top of that base price, its total value is likely to be truly extraordinary.
This remarkable custom build is nothing short of impressive. It might even inspire Porsche itself to explore more family-friendly models—an intriguing prospect for anyone interested in Porsche ownership.
