Is the GT3 the Perfect Lover?

The other day, my husband posted this on Twitter about the GT3:

“When you compare the GT3 to a lover, she’s a stunning beauty who turns heads everywhere, smart and capable at work. She prefers dining at top-tier restaurants, with perfect manners, gestures, and conversation. But if you take her to a casual family restaurant or fast food place, she suddenly goes quiet and gets moody. So, you better prepare well for your dates.”

I thought, “That’s pretty spot on…” (laughs)

When I said, “That’s a clever way to put it.” my husband replied, “Right? lol” and shared this story:

I’ve written about the GT3 on the blog before, but I often wondered, “How can I describe the GT3’s characteristics in a way that’s easier to understand?”
In the end, I thought comparing it to a lover was the clearest way.
If the GT3 were a lover, she’d be an incredibly beautiful woman, with a model-like figure, smart and successful at work—perfect in every way. She’s the kind of woman everyone admires, thinking, “I wish I could date her just once.” She’s like a flower on a high pedestal, and just walking with her makes everyone turn their heads, which makes you proud.
At first, you’re thrilled to be with her, thinking, “Wow!! She’s the perfect lover! I’ve never met anyone like her before!” But after a while, you start noticing things.
When it comes to dining out, she only wants to go to luxury hotels or upscale restaurants. If you suggest a family restaurant, she might come along, but she won’t eat or talk much and gets really moody. In other words, the GT3 feels amazing on famous roads where it can show off its performance, but on regular streets, the ride is stiffer than normal models, the gear ratios don’t quite fit, and you can’t even enjoy the engine sound.
Even if you say, “Let’s take a little trip,” she’ll show up wearing high heels, and if those heels break mid-date, it’s a disaster.
You can’t just say, “Let’s buy some sneakers nearby and make do!”
She’ll flat out say, “I only wear Louboutins. I can’t walk in anything else.” In other words, “Because the wheels have center locks, you can’t easily fix a flat tire during a tour.” So spontaneous trips are tough.
As time goes by, you start thinking, “We can’t eat at fancy restaurants every day, and it’s hard to go out casually. Living daily life together might be impossible… She might be happier with someone who can always take her to luxury places.”
But since she’s so beautiful, smart, and perfect, and you finally got to date her after admiring her for so long, it’s hard to decide to break up.
You agonize over it for months and finally tearfully bring up the breakup…
Those who have dated such a lover even once often advise, “She’s stunning and amazing, but expensive, and you can’t just go to family restaurants casually. Living with her day-to-day might be difficult. If you want a lover you can casually go out with and travel with, you might want to reconsider.”
Still, for those who haven’t dated her yet, she remains an eternal dream, so even knowing all this, they try to pursue her and date her at least once.
That said, I do sometimes miss her myself (laughs).

It kind of feels like dating a Hollywood actress, I guess (laughs).

What About Other Porsches?

When I asked, “What about other Porsches?” my husband said:

Well, regular Porsche models are generally versatile. They can handle everyday use, winding roads, and even the track. So, if they were lovers, they’d be the type who can go to family restaurants and casual eateries but also behave properly at fancy restaurants. They’re smart, fun to talk to, adaptable to any situation, and lovers you can enjoy being with anywhere.
The 964 feels like an older woman who’s experienced a lot and you can relate to. Like a home-cooked meal with simmered pumpkin or mom’s cooking—very comforting and enjoyable, unlike the thrilling GT3. She’s reliable, fun, and will go anywhere with you.
But since she’s older, she’s great when feeling good but sometimes gets sick and ends up in the hospital a lot (lol).

I see, that makes sense (laughs).

By the way, someone asked on Twitter, “So what type is your wife?” and my husband answered like this:

My wife actually prefers family restaurants and fast food, so she’s more like a basic 911 or a Panamera that doesn’t require deciding where to go too much.

妻は逆にファミレス、ファーストフードの方が好きなので、あまり行く場所を決めなくてもいい素の911や、パナメーラとかじゃないでしょうか😄

I wonder if I should be happy about that… (laughs) Or maybe “Panamera” is a comment on my figure? lol

It’s true I’m not good with fancy places, always wearing T-shirts and jeans, and I love chain restaurants known for being “tasty, fast, and cheap.”

Before dating my husband, when he asked me, “What do you want for lunch?” I said, “Kappa Sushi.” He was totally shocked, saying, “Wow! That’s the first time I’ve heard a woman say that!!” (By the way, that night we had Tenkaippin ramen, lol.)

Well, the basic Carrera and Panamera are also very high-performance and well-made cars… so I guess I’ll try to become that kind of woman.
