Top GT (Gran Turismo) players teach you how to drive on the circuit.

My Family's Car Life

Happy New Year! I hope you will enjoy this year's blog, and I look forward to your continued support.

GT player, descending

I used to have a youtube channel calledGTSport Broadcasting StationI had the pleasure of interviewing MC Rico Otsuka and world-class GT player Tatsuya Sugawara, both of whom run the "Rico Otsuka" website, and they were very kind enough to share their experiences with me.As a result of this connection, they came all the way to our house at the end of last year.

Gran Turismo Sport on PS4 is interesting right now - we've interviewed a GT Sport player and an MC!

Interview with GT Sport players and MC - GT will be the savior of the Japanese auto industry!

Beforehand, my husband decided, "Since we're going to go all out, let's play against each other using our Gran Turismo SPORT handicap controller.

We can't have a top GT player come to our house and drive around in these uncomfortable seats!"

and had a new seat.

You're too enthusiastic.

On the day of the event, they came and tried out GTSport. Mr. Sugawara, upon seeing the set at first glance, said, "This steering wheel is a little difficult to drive. The handle is more important than the seat. And if you just change to a proper steering wheel with no play, I think you'll improve your time." He said.

I see - my husband heard that and said, "I'll change to the handicap controller you taught me as soon as possible" (laughs).

First, we decided to drive the Porsche 911 RSR around the Suzuka Circuit. My husband drove the car first, and then Mr. Sugawara watched him drive it, and now Mr. Sugawara drove it for us and gave us advice.

My husband was nervous, but he was running."Course taking is pretty good - usually good.He seemed to be satisfied when he was told that he had been "a good guy" and "a good guy.

After that, I took over driving duties from Mr. Sugawara, who taught me many things about how to drive on a circuit in GT, and I would like to introduce them to you.

How to drive a circuit in the GT style

Step on the brake hard in tight corners.

In the case of steep corners such as hairpins, it is important to step on the brake firmly and slow down sufficiently, he said.

For all the extra braking, the car is not slowing down and is steering for a long time.Slow down firmly, turn the car around quickly, and thenIf you can accelerate toward the exit at the start of a corner, you will lose a little speed in the corner, but it will be more than compensated for at the start of the corner.
Now, it's like, "I guess I need to step on the brake further in front of it.You might think, "I'm not sure I can do that," but you don't have to; the brake should be at the back of the car. The point is not the braking point.Step on the brake firmly and firmly until the vehicle speed slows down.I think this will make a lot of difference. I think this will make a lot of difference.

Pull the gear all the way up.

When to shift up a gear in GTSport isAs soon as the light blue gauge in the center flickers, change it.I thought it was a "one-stop shop," but I heard it can be pulled further from there.

With a real car, you have to worry about the car breaking down, but with the GT, you don't have to worry about that (laughs). You can still pull it even after the light blue gauge starts to flicker. It is faster to pull until just before the rev hits.
Naturally, fuel consumption will be lower, but I don't need to worry about fuel consumption for my own practice.
And with this car, for example, you can use the "First gear can pull up to 120 km/h."About 160 km/h in 2nd gear, 200 km/h in 3rd gearYou have to remember your standard speed, like, "I'm going to go faster than this," and so on. Then, if you pull the car up to that point, you can increase the speed of the car and drive faster at a faster speed. Well, it is impossible to do this in a real car, so this is a unique way of driving in GT (laughs).

Delete information you don't want.

In GT, my best laps in the past are displayed as translucent ghosts, and I often see "Ugh!I think, "I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm going to overtake this ghost!" and some people are able to run faster, but Mr. Sugawara says he will turn it off. Because of this, he says, the ghosts are notBecause when you see ghosting, you can't see the line.

In my case, I would definitely turn it off and run. I can't see the line, so I can't do the line taking I want to do. Also, I can't see the center of the "BRAKE!!!You also turn off the red text in the "□" section. Each person is different, but you make sure that you can run your own race without being influenced by information you don't need.

He said.

Happy New Year, Mina! We look forward to working with you again this year.

Shhh, but to have two of the top Players at my house is amazing!

I hope that this blog will continue to thrive? I pray that this blog will continue to thrive. I once wrote a message that I hoped this blog would become a sacred place for all Porsche drivers, and it seems to be getting closer to that sacred place every year. I hope that this blog will continue to grow and I will enjoy reading it.

      Yes, it was!
I remember when you wrote that you wished it to be a sacred place for all Porsche drivers, and I was very happy to read that sentence.

What developments await us this year?
I can't imagine what it must be like, but I hope to have fun updating it!
Thank you for your continued support!

    Happy New Year!
I always enjoy reading your articles.

    What's a "taught hanky-panky?"
    I am a little concerned.

I would love to drive a Porsche someday too....

      >What is a "taught hanky-panky"?
      >I am a little concerned.

In Gran Turismo, they say the best hanko is the "Thrustmaster T-GT"!
I looked at it and heard it's pretty easy to operate!

    Thank you for telling us.

  4. Tak.

Thanks for your help. I was thinking of replacing my Hankon because it was not working well. Which one did you recommend, Mr. Sugawara? I would like to use it as a reference. Thank you in advance.

  5. Tak.

Sorry, that was already mentioned. Please delete it.
