Mastering Porsche’s Individuality – PTS (Paint to Sample Program)

In Japan, the PTS option price is ¥1,567,000 for the 911 Carrera, or ¥3,430,000 for PTS Plus, which lets you create any color you want.

Sean Wotherspoon – Collaboration with Porsche

Have you heard of Sean Wotherspoon?
He is a Los Angeles-based designer, curator, collector, and vintage enthusiast well known in the creative world.

He has previously collaborated with Porsche on colorful projects, notably the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo art car.

Recently, Wotherspoon revealed a special Porsche 911 Dakar on Instagram showcasing this unique 911 Dakar.

The One and Only 911 Dakar – The Charm of “Nashy Blue”

This new off-road-spec 911, created in collaboration with Porsche family member Ferdinand Ahorner (@ferdinand_ahorner), is painted in a special color originally developed for Wotherspoon’s Taycan art car. Rather than choosing from Porsche’s extensive palette, the paint color used is Wotherspoon’s own “Nashy Blue.”

Wotherspoon and Ferdinand meticulously crafted every detail, from the choice of contrast stitching to the white wheel color. This car, painstakingly built over countless hours, is truly one of a kind.

The interior also shows careful attention. The cabin features clean white leather as a base, accented with black and blue houndstooth inserts. This successfully expresses both color and heritage.

Wotherspoon’s Feelings Toward Porsche

This 911 Dakar is genuinely a one-of-a-kind special car. Wotherspoon expressed his gratitude and affection for the Porsche brand as follows:
