Porsche 911 Carrera T to pre-delivery procedures

I recently went to a pre-delivery procedure for a 911 Carrera T.

I thought it was still a long way off, but I had the feeling that time had passed in the blink of an eye.

Until now, I had followed my husband through the pre-delivery procedures when he was buying a Porsche, but again, I had never really seen what kind of paperwork he had to fill out and what he had to do at that time, since I was not buying the car myself. (With children, I just can't sit back and relax.)

This time, I was a little nervous because it was myfirst Porsche,Two certificates of seal registration, personal seal and bank sealThe family went to the Porsche Center with the

We spent about an hour there, confirming the final specifications and price, signing, and chatting with Mr. H, the loan officer, about the loan payment amount, and so on.

My Carrera T is a Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan (PSMP: an all-in-one package that includes statutory inspections, manufacturer inspections, and replacement/replenishment of major parts over 3 or 5 years from the time of purchase), including options, overhead, etc,The total cost was 20,583,160 yen.

It's expensive....

Incidentally, as for the dealer coating, I did not put it on because I was planning to ask a local keeper lab to do it for me.

Out of the approximately 20 million yen, we managed to scrape together 4 million yen as a down payment, including the deposit (we were desperate to cancel the mutual fund portion, etc.), and even so,A five-year loan with a set residual value (set at 40%), with monthly payments of about 210,000 yen.

Oh...this is also expensive...

Well...Only a Carrera T. There is no way that after 5 years its vehicle value has dropped to a new 40%.I guess, but I realized once again that if I were to buy one myself, I would have to worry about resale, monthly payments, and many other details.

However, once the car is delivered, I hope I can forget about such things and enjoy the ride to the fullest.

Carrera T arrives at the dealership!

After returning home from the dealership, we first obtained a garage certificate, which we handed over to Mr. H., who was in charge of the project, then transferred the down payment, and the procedure was completed without delay.

With the date set for the pickup of the Swissport (just before the delivery of the last-minute Carrera T), preparations are steadily underway.I guess it's finally time!I was thrilled to hear from Mr. H that the Carrera T had arrived safely at the dealer.

He also sent me a lot of videos and pictures, but to be honest, at first I didn't really feel that this was my 911 at all, it was like someone else's car.Heh... that's cool...I was like, "I've been looking at this for a long time.Oh, this is my 911.I started to feel a little more realistic about it.

Then, strangely enough, I felt at once that this Carrera T was cool, and it was so cool that I have been smiling at pictures and videos of it ever since, whenever I have free time (laugh).

With its lightweight body, Carrera engine, and sport chassis with rear axle option, it was "aNot a ride-oriented car.The driving must definitely be fun...!

I can't stop being excited now. On the day of delivery, please, please let it be sunny. No, I won't say such a luxury, so please don't rain, even if it is cloudy...!

I commented on your blog when the Carrera T was discontinued.
    Finally.
My Targa was delivered about a month ago. I enjoy driving it with my two children.
My Carrera T is currently still at sea on the ferry and will be delivered in early July. I am very much looking forward to it as I think it will be a different ride from the Targa.
Mina, I am looking forward to Hiro's Carrera T test drive report.

      KT2.
Thank you very much! It's finally here!

      Oh Targa, congratulations!
I imagine it must be very pleasant since it is a good season now.

I see that the Carrera T will be delivered around July!
Targa and Carrera T,, I envy you...!

Thank you for your continued support.

    Mina.

    Good morning, Omochi here.
    Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
    It's so cool!
    And the crayons look great.
When I read this article, I was excited and thrilled as if it were my own.
I really understand the feeling of being concerned about the loan payment, but the enjoyment of the ride wins out.
I'm looking forward to the delivery of the car(^-^)
I hope it will be sunny on the day of the event.

My Panamera is still stuck in Toyohashi, and it looks like I won't get a shipping call yet ( ;) ).
The departure from the main port in Germany was also very frustrating, but the arrival in Toyohashi seemed much longer, and I was filled with a sense that it was still a long way off.
By the way, in Mina's case, how long was the schedule from the Toyohashi shipment to the fixed delivery date?

    • Mina.Mina.

      Mr. Omochi.
      Thank you!
I look at it every day thinking, "How cool!

The delivery date looks like it will be sunny so far, and I am really looking forward to it!

      Panamera Yes, that's right!
      豊橋で足踏み、、、以前夫が買った992か、カイエンかも、ずっと豊橋で足踏みでした…。

      I'm so so so so.

I think it was about 10 days from Toyohashi shipment to the fixed delivery date in my case.

    Hello Mina and Hiro.

Finally, finally, finally! To be honest, it arrived earlier than I expected.
For some reason I am as happy as if it were my own car, even though it is not my car. I think most of the readers of this blog probably feel the same way.
And I can only describe it in a very clichéd way, but it's just so cool...too cool...too good...
Thank you for the total payment as well. By the way, our nearest dealer requires an application fee of about 10% at the time of reservation. I don't know about now, though, since the management company has recently changed. Well, Hiro's credit seems to be good since he has been buying consistently.
Also, totally unrelated, but I commented on the last article about the sale of Swisspo in Gababa, but I didn't think I had exposed my real name.
I would appreciate it if you could change it to nave if possible. www

      Thank you!
I am very happy to hear you say so!
When I started this blog, I never thought that I would be able to buy a Porsche in the future.

I hope we can share the joy with you when we deliver the car.
Thank you for your continued support!

Oh, I apologize for not noticing your real name!
      We have made the change.

  5. TABO.

I always enjoy reading your blog.
I also watched the YouTube short!

The gray of the door mirrors and wheels and the crayon body of the Carrera T look cool together.

We are very close to delivery!
I know it must have been a lot of work, the procedures, the preparations, etc,
I could tell from your blog that you were really looking forward to it.

Just after I received my PC from Toyohashi Port myself,
I remember how happy I was when the person in charge sent me a photo.

Kahlerf with My First Porsche, enjoy it to the fullest!
I look forward to reading your future blogs!

    • Mina.Mina.

      Turbo. Mr.

      Thank you!
Thank you for the YouTube short!

I wondered how everyone who bought a Porsche must have spent the days leading up to the delivery of their car with this kind of feeling,
I realize it again now ^^^.

      Please keep them coming!

  6. Slope of the wind

    Finally!

Hopefully the delivery date won't be rainy!

My Carrera doesn't even foresee securing a production slot (tears).
992.2 is flickering, prices are going up and up and up, and the current car is nearing inspection and is delicate.

Since Toranomon Hills is nearby, I feel like I should attempt to talk to them in person.

Please let us know your fun report on the delivery of the car again~!

    • Mina.Mina.

      Mr. Wind Slope.
      Thank you for everything!
It looks like it will be sunny on the day of delivery!

992.2 is flickering, prices are going up and up and up, and the current car is nearing inspection and is delicate.
      I see...!
I heard that there are many people waiting in line at the dealership where our family has been.

Please let me know if you get a direct call from Toranomon (laughs).

I will report back after the car is delivered!

  7. moto

Nice to meet you! I have been reading your site since the early days.
I'm also asking for a Carrera T left hand drive MT.
It's hard to come by the production quota: 。。。。
I would like to drive it for a long time as I think it is the last engine car manual.
I have 30 years of Porsche experience and have been a believer since air-cooled.
It looks like you are in the neighborhood, so if we see you, we would like to talk to you!
I am driving a 991.2 turbo Lava Orange.

    Congratulations on your arrival!
I always enjoy reading your articles.
I too am waiting for a Carrera T, production quota. Not sure if I can afford it (lol).
I have used it as a reference for choosing options. We have a similar Carrera T. ^_^

If you ever come to Ashiu or other places, I hope we can take a picture together,
I was thinking of it as I looked at the comments.

  9. in spite of

    Congratulations!

I was thinking about the Carrera T specifications,
Hiro has let go of his GT3 Touring,

The GT3 Touring was a good car, but I would love to have a winding 911,
I'd rather have more of this kind of suspension and some sound insulation there."

It seemed to me that the specifications were filled with ideals like

I can see Hiro-san falling in love with the Carrera T.

Indeed, as you say, it may be my husband's ideal car, the very touring package (laughs).
I'll ride it myself tight so it doesn't get taken over (laughs).

Thank you for your continued support!
