As I wrote in my recent blog post, I purchased a used Taycan 4S Cross Turismo.
My first impressions of the driving experience have been very positive, and I plan to share more about that later, but today, I’d like to start by introducing the options and specifications of the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo I bought.

Taycan 4S Cross Turismo Specifications
The Taycan 4S Cross Turismo (MY2023), right-hand drive, with 8,000 km on the odometer.

I tried configuring it myself, but some options didn’t show up…

In addition, I had the Electric Sport Sound retrofitted.
(It cost about 240,000 yen including installation. It was expensive, but I thought, why not?)
Why the Taycan?
Originally, I intended to buy a Panamera hybrid model, so I asked my dealer contact, Mr. H, to help me look for one, and later visited a certified used car dealership.
However, the moment the automatic door opened, I fell in love at first sight with the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo parked right in front of me.
Neither I nor my husband ever imagined such a turn of events.
Sometimes I get asked, “Did you buy the Taycan due to some adult circumstances?” but that’s absolutely not the case.
In fact, Mr. H kept recommending the Panamera until the very end, even saying things like,
“Would you like to go see the Panamera again? Take another look at the interior? Since you said the Panamera was so good…”
But my heart was completely captured by the Taycan, and I couldn’t imagine any other option.
I don’t think I would have been so captivated by any other Taycan model. It was this particular specification of the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo that really struck a chord with me.
Everyday Use of the Taycan
If I were to buy one myself, I never would have imagined a spec like Ice Grey Metallic with the Off-Road Package and LED Matrix Headlights (Glacier Ice Blue).
It’s amazing how much the atmosphere of a car can change depending on the specs and options you choose.
I’ve only driven about 300 km since delivery, but I want to take some longer trips and also experience how practical it is to use the car with a standard household 100V power supply (laughs).
I plan to continue testing and writing about the Taycan’s driving experience and everyday usability.
