Never Seen a Porsche Panamera Like This! — A Collection of Rare Panamera Body Colors

Differences in Body Colors Between Japan and Overseas

The other day, I wrote an article titled “Choosing a car almost always involves agonizing over the body color,” and received comments noting that “in Japan, white, black, and silver cars are overwhelmingly common.”

Indeed, while models like the 911, Cayman, and Boxster sometimes sport flashy colors befitting sports cars, when it comes to the Panamera, I’ve hardly ever seen anything other than white, black, or silver.

So, I decided to research rare Panamera body colors on overseas used car sites and Instagram.

What I found went beyond just rare—there were some truly outrageous body colors, so I want to introduce here only those Panameras in colors I’ve never seen in Japan. (Crayon and Sapphire Blue are beautiful too, but since I’ve seen those in Japan, I’m leaving them out this time.)

Green Tones

First up are some rare but not overly flashy colors. This 970 Panamera 4S’s body color is called “British Racing Green.”

Porsche Panamera 4S PDK Racing Green

I really like this retro vibe. I’ve seen this color on a 911 before, but this is my first time seeing it on a Panamera. By the way, here’s what a British Racing Green 971 Panamera looks like.

The emblem doesn’t quite look Porsche-like, but it’s definitely a Panamera… maybe it just looks that way because of the lighting. Next is a 971 Panamera Turbo in a matte, muted green. (What exactly is this color?)

I’ve rarely seen this color on other models either. The wheels are blackish instead of silver, which really suits the overall vibe. Next up is this one.

A camo-patterned Panamera Turbo S (*_*)!! To think you can get this playful with a Panamera’s body color—this owner must be seriously wealthy… But if they took this into the jungle, instead of camouflaging, it’d probably stand out even more, haha.

Orange / Yellow Tones

Here’s a 970 Panamera GTS with a metallic orange body color. I’ve never seen a Panamera in this color in Japan either.

It really pops and looks beautiful even in a rainy parking lot.

No matter where you park it, you’d definitely spot it right away. Next up, maybe a car customized by an overseas company?

Only the hood is black, giving a slight vibe reminiscent of the Weissach Package. But on a Panamera, it looks pretty fierce. Next is yellow.

I’ve never seen a yellow Panamera in Japan either. It’s a color that seems like it should exist but doesn’t… It must really stand out on the road in Japan. Looking closely, the calipers are yellowish, so maybe the owner installed PCCB to match the yellow theme?

By the way, there’s also a custom car with this kind of yellow design.

Pink / Brown

Next up is this 970 Panamera, but what color should I call this…?

Brown? Beige? But surely it looks different depending on the lighting. It might actually be a beautiful color that suits the large, solid Panamera. The red brake calipers also seem to fit well. Next is this one.

Pi-pink (*_*)!!!

Pink body color… that takes some serious courage… No matter how much money I had, I could never pull this off. Next is this.

Flashy pink… this is something else… If this was chasing me on the highway, I’d definitely move over immediately. Next up is this.

What color is this? Pink gold? It looks like a stylish laptop color. The yellow brake calipers suggest it might be a hybrid. It looks even pinker outdoors.

Maybe this is a different body color variant. Next is this.

What color… (lol)?

Beetle color? Maybe the front looks reddish because of the light. Unrelated, but I wouldn’t want to drive a Panamera up this narrow hill in the photo.

Silver / Black / White

Silver, black, and white are standard body colors in Japan, but overseas there seem to be many with edgy designs. Here’s one with a silver body accented with black, reminiscent of the 911R design.

I think it fits beautifully with stylish cityscapes.

Next is a version with a single black stripe. Amazing—I never would have thought of that (-_-).

Next is this one.

It’s a Panamera but feels like a super-customized car with a black-and-white monochrome theme. Also, the wheels are aggressive and large. There’s also a silver-and-black version.

The whole body has a matte finish and looks beautiful. Next is this.

What even is this (*_*)

…Molten iron? (Reminds me of the soldering experiment from middle school science class) It looks like the iron is melting and the car itself might disappear soon. Like a Terminator. And next is another rare design.

*Image source: Porsche Panamera Turbo*BURMESTER*REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT

It’s a black-and-silver camo pattern. It even looks a bit like a cow, which is kind of cute. Next is a very straightforward design.

Martini Racing pattern, haha! They must really love it—probably driving around in matching hoodies. Next is a pretty punchy body color.

What is this, a lion? A dragon? A pirate?… Amazing. If my neighbor parked a Panamera like this, I’d be a little intimidated and wouldn’t casually approach.

Blue / Purple

My Panamera is Night Blue Metallic, but overseas there seem to be many more flashy blues.

This is the first time I’ve seen a Miami Blue Panamera. It’s heavily modified, maybe for a custom car show or something. Next is this.

Another blue Panamera, seemingly a Weissach Package version. Yellow accents on the wheels and interior. It looks like something straight out of Fast & Furious. Next is a purple Panamera.

I wonder if this is CG rather than a real photo.

Gold

Now, after seeing all these various Panamera colors, the ultimate is this.

Gold (*_*)!!

Dazzling… staring at this in summer might hurt your eyes. It looks like something a prince from Dubai or the Arab world would drive.

But surprisingly, it might actually look cool.

This time, after exploring various rare Panamera body colors, I felt that overseas owners really embrace playful creativity, and just looking at these cars is fun. While it might be tough to resell such unique colors on the used market, these cars have a one-of-a-kind personal feel, and the owners must be very satisfied.

Maybe when I buy my next car, I’ll dare to go bold too.
