Porsche 911 (992 type) Turbo S
Test drive report for each car

The other day, my husband seemed to test drive the 911 (992 type) Turbo S, which I knew, and wrote a report. Please take a look if you like.

Porsche 911 Turbo S (992 type)

The flagship grade of Porsche 911, "Turbo". It is a grade that has reigned at the top of 911 since the 930 type era, and is a grade that sets it apart from the normal grade. And I was blessed with the opportunity to test drive this timeIt will be the latest 911, 992 type "Turbo S".

When "S" is attached, it is characterized by having almost all running options.

I've been living to see this article for about half of the last few days (laughs)
Thank you for the test drive report.

There is a difference in wing size between GT series and turbo in appearance, but since turbo is 4WD, it accelerates violently without concentrating downforce on the rear wheels, and therefore in the ultra high speed range. It looks like there is no lift. (Although there is a speed range where you can try downforce ...)

I think that the change in cornering sensation due to 4WD traction is quite drastic for turbo.
Even in FR, tires often hurt when it exceeds 400 horsepower, but I thought that handling a machine with more than 400 horsepower in RR exceeds the limit of tires. Depending on the road surface condition, you should die lightly without exaggeration ...!
I presume that the turbo is superior to the GT3 in most areas, and it seems that the current GT3 and GT2 are no longer in the range that even the top humans can handle.

Porsche has always said that "structure follows function", but isn't it possible that anomalous electronically controlled 4WD such as 918 & 919 will be installed in the hybrid 911 turbo in the future?
The structure of 918 & 919 is really beautiful because you can apply front wheel traction only when you need it without adding extra drive structure.
If it is a hybrid and on-demand 4WD, the front wheel motor + RRorMR is advantageous, so the 911 should continue to grow.
Also, if it was made in Japan, the second generation NSX should have a similar format, but the power of the motor is too different ...

And when you buy the next Panamera, I think you should have a lot of trouble with 4WD or FR.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the long sentence!
Whatever it is, Porsche's evolution, forever! is.

Thank you very much for looking forward to the article on 911 Turbo S (laughs)!
The turbo seems to be amazing, and I thought that it was only expensive (although it is too expensive ^^;)

Also, thank you for your comments that will help you learn a lot!
For me, plain carrera is the easiest to handle, but it's still more than enough to handle, so
I think that it is a really terrible car such as turbo, GT3, GT2.

As you said, the evolution of Porsche is tremendous.
I wonder if the next 992 type GT3 will be a high-performance car far beyond imagination.

      Continue to thank you!

    I always read it happily.

I like luxury and gentle turbo models
I am very happy to see the reviews of my husband who owns GT3.
I understand the difference from the GT series, and someday it will be turbo! I feel stronger and stronger.

However, the concern of the turbo model is the bad resale.
In the used market, even in the state of new and old cars, the price has dropped significantly with respect to the new car price,
If you are running for tens of thousands of kilometers, the rate of price reduction will be even greater.

I would like to hear your husband's opinion about the used car market of turbo models.

Thank you for always seeing the blog!

My husband seems to think "someday turbo!", So
It seems that I was very happy to be able to test drive this time.

      > The concern of the turbo model is the bad resale.
As you said, the price drop of turbo is amazing ...
I always think that it is completely different from GTS.

      My husband also
"The price drop of the turbo is really amazing, so I think that resale is worrisome as you said.
But I thought that people who buy turbos don't really care about resale.
I couldn't choose the python green body color turbo that I tried this time, or I'm scared.
The owner seems to have said, "I want to ride a turbo that I have been particular about."
I thought that if I was going to ride a turbo, I wouldn't mind riding it without worrying about resale. I don't do my best either. "
      I was saying.

      Excuse me, do you have an answer ... ^^;
Thank you for your continued support!

It's not the latest model, but I'm worried about the 991 Turbo S right now.
Today, I had a turbo S on a PC that I stopped by with my wife, and my wife's reaction was so good that I should be happy that I could reach the turbo I longed for ...
The trouble is to let go of 964.
For the time being, the value of 964 will increase, so I'm making an excuse to wait and see instead of selling it right away, but I'll end up letting go.
I'm longing for a turbo, but it's not always my goal. It's a personal feeling, but air cooling may be a taste, and turbo may be like measles. I am vaguely thinking that I should settle down in my own car when I feel like it.
Can you find a similar car a few years later when you want to ride air-cooled again? ??
Can you find a car that your husband can praise, "How to reduce tires is beautiful"? ?? (Thank you for everything)
If the delivery of the 992 turbo progresses, it is also annoying that the number of used 991 turbos will increase.
Of course, it is ideal to own two, but I will report the result again.

My husband is always indebted to Ashi!
      Thank you!

      It's annoying ...
My husband also said, "The recent price increase of 964 is so great that once you let go, you may not be able to get something in good condition in the future."
      I often say that.

If the delivery of> 992 turbo progresses, it is also annoying that the number of used 991 turbos will increase.
That's right, it's also annoying that more and more attractive candidates are increasing ...
I would be grateful if you could tell me the results again.

      Continue to thank you!

What you don't need is a reply. It is open to the public.
    I'm sorry.

I'm so busy and completely crazy ... I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

      I've acknowledged!
I have seen your comments! Thank you very much! !!

    February 15, 2021

    I always enjoyed watching it.

I have been reading this blog for about two years, and I am very grateful to have used it as a reference for myself.
I have lived abroad for a long time, and about five years ago when I saw a draw, I decided to ride a Porsche and started with Macan Turbo.
After riding for about two years, I realized that the tall SUV was not suitable for me, so I tried the 911 and 9924S cabriolet, which was recommended by the sales staff, and got hooked.
When I saw the appearance of the turbo there, I switched to the 992 Turbo Cabrio without the S for the year this month, but I was amazed at the size of the difference.

A little simple notice of the difference between the 992 Cabriolet 4S and the turbo from the perspective of an elderly man who has a short history of enthusiasts, but I would like to convey it as a thank you so far.
This turbo cabriolet without S seems to be one of the first flights to Japan, so I haven't seen it in the city yet.

Only the main point, but with the current 992 turbo
    1. 1. It strongly feels the natural linear feeling when accelerating, and conveys the richness of this car's construction both sensuously and sensuously.
    2. 2. The increase in the feeling of ground contact that is transmitted when the spoiler is fully opened is very reliable, and the elderly rider whose dynamic vision is declining is also well supported.
    3. 3. It seems that both the comfort of the suspension and the sense of road surface information at low speeds in the city are increasing, and the duality is interesting.
    4. The precision of handling has been further improved, and in Hakone etc., I feel that I can draw the desired line just by changing the gripping force of the steering wheel.
    5. In Macan, I could not experience the functions and advantages of 4WS and PDCC so much, but this time the factor is unknown, but the movement of the center of gravity felt around the waist on the curve is very comfortable and I can not find words.
(In Macan, the drive train and chassis were full options, but the 4S options are mainly chrono and spoeki, and this time the options are mostly spoeki and 18-way seats, PCCB, PDCC, sports suspension are 4S , Turbo is not attached)

As a matter of fact, although I didn't like the rear wing, I tried the turbo this time because I came to the rear part of 1900 mm and thought that I could let go quickly if I was not impressed by riding. The more I get on board now, the more I feel that I'm likely to become attached to it as a "thing" with a bad habit. My wife also feels subtly and seems to have a sense of caution.

Actually, I was at a loss for posting on the Internet for the first time in my life, but I hope that it will be a little reference material for the owner of this blog who received very useful information.
We are looking forward to the future activities of the couple and their blogging activities.
