A Repair Bill of ¥600,000 for One Door…

I scraped the side of my Panamera. When I asked the repair shop for an estimate, they told me it would cost ¥600,000 per door. “That’s impossible! There’s no way it should cost that much—you’re ripping me off!” I was desperately trying to negotiate when my husband walked over and calmly asked:

What happened? Did you scrape it?

So I explained, “I scraped the side while going through an automatic car wash the other day. They’re telling me it’ll cost ¥600,000 per door to fix, which is way too much, so I’m trying to negotiate”.

I really shouldn’t have used an automatic car wash… I regretted it so much, but by then it was too late…

That was the dream I had yesterday, and I woke up feeling completely defeated.

As I wrote in an earlier post about the nightmare from when the Panamera first came home, was this another round of the same bad dream? I’d actually been thinking about trying a JAVA brushless automatic car wash soon. Maybe, even though I wasn’t consciously worried, deep down I was afraid of scraping the car—and that fear found its way into my dream. I’m such a worrier; honestly, I’m a little embarrassed by my own personality.
