  • PADM (Active Engine Mount) often fails in 981, 991, 718 models, etc.
  • Repairs cost over 500,000 yen, so many opt to replace with standard mounts
  • In that case, coding changes are needed to clear error messages
  • For 981 and 718, since it’s integrated with the transmission mount, suspension removal and alignment checks are also required
  • Because it’s expensive and fails frequently, extended warranty coverage is recommended

2. Taycan Battery’s Natural Discharge [17:32]

  • Even after about two weeks of no use, natural discharge is minimal
  • Driving over 200 km once a week is fine, with weekly fast charging sufficient
  • Currently, home charging equipment is being replaced, so charging at home isn’t possible, but fast charging at the dealer works fine
