Hello, 2018!

It’s 2018! After enjoying osechi (traditional New Year’s dishes) and ozoni (New Year’s soup) first thing in the morning, my husband and our eldest daughter headed out for a drive on Royu Driveway. They usually take the Boxster GTS when they go to Royu, and today was no exception: they dropped the top and set off in the Boxster.

They’re such a close father and daughter—it’s lovely to see. My husband says he absolutely won’t let her get an automatic-only driver’s license, though I imagine the licensing system will have changed by the time she’s old enough.

At the end of last year, we took the Panamera to Murotsu to buy oysters.

The weather was perfect, and the scenery was beautiful.

On the way home, we stopped at a convenience store in the Panamera. This is what it looked like:
