Parking a Panamera by Temmabashi Station: OMM Parking Is a Great Option

Heading to Keihan City Mall Parking

I had a work appointment in Temmabashi the other day, so I drove there in my Panamera Turbo with my younger daughter along for the ride. Most of the parking garages I found in advance had a width limit of around 1,900 mm, so I thought, “The parking garage at Keihan City Mall might work.” When I looked it up, the only restriction listed was the height limit. (For reference, vehicles up to 2.1 m tall are allowed.)

I still wanted to know the width limit, but a quick image search made it look like parking there wouldn’t be a problem, so I set the navigation and headed over.

Traffic on the expressway was relatively smooth that morning. I arrived at the entrance around 9:45 a.m. (My appointment was at 10.)—only to find it closed, with a chain blocking the way. (-_-) I checked later and found out that parking wasn’t available until 10 a.m.

On to OMM Parking

With no other choice, I drove past the entrance and continued east to OMM Parking, which opens at 7 a.m. It was fairly quiet inside, and I had no trouble finding a space.

There was an Audi Q5 parked next to me. It’s a large vehicle, but there was still plenty of room in the space. My appointment went smoothly, and after parking for just over an hour, the fee came to ¥900. That felt a little steep for Temmabashi, and it didn’t look like there was a maximum daily rate. Still, the garage is covered, has no wheel locks, and connects directly to the station, so it’s convenient. It could be a good choice for a short stay.

If you drive a large car, it’s handy to know which parking garages are easy to use near each station. I’ll keep exploring and sharing what I find.
