BMW 320i (F30) came to my house! - The whole process from delivery to the first ride

My Family's Car Life

Delivery of BMW 320i

Finally, the other day, I was able toBMW 320i (F30) came to our house. It's a 2014 model MT car. By the way, this is my first car in my life, and I never dreamed that my first car in my life would be a MT car.(You can read about why here.)

Buy the car you love for the first time in your life! Until you meet and order a BMW 3 series (MT).

Between ordering and taking delivery of the car, my husband had

I mean, can I really ride it? I guess I'll have to buy back my Golf.

It was said that "No, it's okay this time. It's definitely okay this time (-_-)He responded throughout, as if to himself, "I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.

According to the weekly weather forecast, the weather on the day of delivery will be "heavy rain" I gave up and said, "I knew it."To my surprise, the weather forecast changed to sunny the day before.I am a rain woman. The other day, when I went touring in Fukui, I thought it was going to rain, but in the end it cleared up... Maybe I have graduated from being a rain-woman.(I know it's going to rain again when I say that)

On the day of the event, the BMW sales rep brought a 320i on his own to replace the Golf in our house. That morning, we took out all of our golf gear, vacuumed, and were ready to go.I was somewhat deeply moved to think that today would be the last time I would see the two shots with the Panamera.

From BMW delivery to first ride

The car was to be delivered in the evening, so my husband left work early that day and came home. As the delivery time approached, I was somewhat fidgety. Now or never. As we were waiting for the "Mere Old Man," we received a call from the person in charge that he had arrived in front of our house, and the whole family walked out of the house...

Oh, here it is at last!

I was not sure how I would feel about it... and after listening to the person in charge explain the operation of the car, I was not sure how I would feel about it.iDrive was easy to use and the audio sound was pretty good.I learned for the first time on that day that you can switch driving modes between sport mode, comfort mode and eco mode. This was the first day I learned that there is such a thing as switching driving modes to sport, comfort, and eco mode.

After that, the golf was checked and everything was fine, so the person in charge left in the golf with the words "please continue to work with us". Golf, thank you, bye-bye.... I know I've felt this way before.I guess parting ways is a lot easier than it seems. The following is a list of the most common problems with the "C" in the "C" column.

After seeing off the golfers, "Well, now, since we're here, let's take a ride! So, I asked my husband to drive first. As soon as my husband started driving

What the hell! This is totally different from the Boxster! It's so easy!I can't stall the car in any way! This is indeed fine, even for Mina-chan!

I was driving around laughing and giggling.

Well...it sure looked easy from the side, and there was no shock from the shift shock at all. Then I looked at the gauge and saw that I was a little low on gas, so I decided to go out to the national highway to fill up.

And then...At this point, we finally took over driving.

."You can do it. You can do it.I adjust the seat and handlebar position, saying to myself, "I can't think about it, let's go! I moved the shift lever to "1, 2, 3, 4," and then said to myself, "There's no point in thinking about it. I'm going to go!" and set off, gathering up all my courage.

I managed to start the car. But there was not a millimeter of time to enjoy the conversation. On the way to the airport, we were told that we would have to wait for a "stop sign.I was going to put it in 2nd gear, but it didn't go in at all!I say.

Why? It's such a light shift lever! Too much pressure on my hand!"

He pointed out that "I have no idea what speed I'm on! I can't get the display to work!I say.

Why not? ! You know what it sounds like! The sound of the engine, or that the car looks like it's having a hard time... it's just a feeling!

And then he pointed out... and I realized that my husband was beside me.

I really wonder why. It's so ticklish when you look at it from the side. It's like that comedian's story.(frozen) stiffW

He was laughing hysterically.

Ah...that "Zabungle Kato" thing. That "You're all stiff.I was just like, "I'm not a fan of this. It's ticking!I couldn't deny any of it and had to laugh because I was in a "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" state. I had no time to regain my composure, and as I drove on, I came to a stoplight on a slight, gentle slope.

It's finally here, the hill start.

I started the car with the clutch on and the accelerator pedal blasting, and managed to get it off the ground without slipping. I was able to start the car without slipping off.Yes! Yes!I kept on driving, getting into a good mood, making another mistake... and so on.

After that, I was able to safely go through the hill in front of the station, the biggest challenge in my mind, at a green light, but I found myself drenched in sweat all over (explosion).

Then, perhaps because I was getting a little tired, the car stalled when starting from a normal stoplight stop. "Oh no, no, no!I stepped on the clutch, and to my surprise, the engine started automatically.

I was relieved to see such a nice feature. We managed to arrive home, despite the stalling and ticking, and then my husband said to me, "I'm sorry...

Let's see if this really doesn't auto hold on hills. It would be good to know when I start riding tomorrow.

So I took over driving and tried it on the hill in front of my house. I tried it on the hill in front of our house, and it held for about 2 seconds, and then the car dropped backwards with a jerk. After several attempts with the same result, my husband

Take your foot off the brake pedal on an uphill, for about 2 seconds, and maintain the brake ".Hill Start AssistI've heard there's a "I've heard of this" feature, but this BMW has it! Good for you!

I was not so sure. I guess the reason I was able to start the car without sliding down a slope earlier was because it was equipped with this function... I guess it wasn't my own ability... (-_-) With a lot of uncertainty, the first run of the day was over.

The next day, when I went to take my eldest daughter to kindergarten, I also took the BMW, but it was so clutchy that it repeatedly stalled again and again, causing inconvenience to the cars following me.

Only to find that when I picked up my oldest daughter from kindergarten again that afternoon. In contrast to the morning, I was able to drive calmly.I guess it's familiarity after all - I think I can handle this. Okay, I'll practice hard!

By the way, I would like to share my husband's BMW 320i (F30) first impressions in another article.

It is always a pleasure to see your work.
As you probably know, the MT version of the 992 has been announced and will be out in the summer.
The person in charge told me about it and I asked him to take the order.
I look forward to your review of GT3.

      >As you probably know, the MT version of the 992 has been announced and will be out in the summer.
I see!!! I am very curious to know what the ride is like.
We would be very happy to learn more about the car once it is delivered.

We'll have another review of GT3 up soon!
Thank you for your continued support.

    Hello ^_^
    It's nice. It's very initial.
It just looks like fun to me. w

It's more fun and more achievable when it's a little more difficult.
BMW is also my favorite manufacturer, so I look forward to your impressions later.
I would also like to hear a little more about your thoughts on your own car for the first time.

      こんにちは、有難うございます^^初々しいですよね…(笑)
It's been 10 days since I took delivery of the car, and after riding it every day, I'm pretty used to it now and really enjoying it!
I am keenly aware that it is better to get used to things than to learn them.

I'll post some more BMW impressions later!

      > I would also like to hear a little more about your thoughts on your own car for the first time.
Yes, I was so focused on the MT operation... (laughs)
But when it becomes my own car, I get attached to it, and these days I drive BMWs every day, putting the Panamera aside...
I will write about that in another article.

Congratulations on the delivery of the car. The first ride with your husband was funny like a contrast.
Signal crossings hills... I know it's hard to get used to, but it should make driving more fun, so keep up the good work!

      YUKE.
      Thank you!
I was frantic, but my husband was beside me giggling the whole time (laughs).
Ten days have passed since I took delivery of the car, and after riding it every day, I have gotten used to it and feel like I can go anywhere (I may be getting too carried away).
MT cars are so much fun!

    Good evening ( ^ω^ )
    (frozen) stiff
There's a lot of effort put into the shift.
    I understand.
I also have a circuit image.
    Looking back...
    Sigh.
    It's better to relax lightly.
    I know it's good.
    I'll do it.

    • Mina.Mina.

      Mr. Cara.
Well, Cara, you are a seasoned veteran, you have done a lot of track days, and you seemed very relaxed in the video.
      No, it's not...!

      >I know I should relax lightly, but I do it.
I know it in my head, but it's difficult... lol I'm much more relaxed about the 320, but I can drive it.
      GT3 is so ticky-tacky that it's not possible at all ^^;
      I'll practice hard too!
