Unleash the GT3! Driving the Porsche 911 GT3 at Suzuka Circuit

Reviews & Test Rides

However, the stability of GT3 is amazing. It's so stable and peaceful."Can we still go?When I step on the gas pedal more than halfway," he says, "the tire grip almost collapses, the behavior is slightly disturbed, and the PSM puts the control in place. "I see, with the PSM on, this is about how the control comes on.and exploring the limits, we headed out of Dunlop Corner and into Degner.

Passing under the multi-level intersection, the car accelerates fully in second gear, 9000 RPM, and with the supreme flat-six NA sound, heads for the hairpin.

The hairpin makes it easier to put it on the in than you might think. When I drove the Boxster, I had more trouble, or if I was a little overspeed, it would bulge outward. However, even in such a situation, the GT3 will enter the car as if it were cutting into the road when the steering wheel is turned.

Compared to the Boxster, it has very little tendency to understeer. If anything, it feels like a tendency toward oversteer.

It is quite scary to accelerate on the 200R, but I take the plunge and drive on. On the way, the price of GT3 flashed through my mind rather than fear, so I didn't push too hard and went to Spoon. The GT3 is very stable in the second half of the spoon, even near the exit leading to the back straight. This is a place where a slight course error or overspeed can cause erratic behavior, but the GT3 has a very deep pocket and turns as if nothing happened even if a slight mistake is made.

The back straight was naturally driven at full throttle, a difficult 130R. With my skills, I remember passing the Boxster at about 140-160km/h, but the GT3 was much more comfortable than that.Even at around 170-180 km/h, it is not that scary.Maybe I can still make it. But it's harder to keep the price of GT3 from flashing in my mind than it is to keep the fear (lol).

When you drive on 130R something.I wish this GT3 had a rear wing.I honestly think, "I don't know. No, rather, I think "If only this were GT3RS.I think. The GT3 Touring package without the wing is totally stable and I am not dissatisfied with it, but I would like to experience a higher level of performance.

If I were to think mainly of the circuit, I'd probably still go with the GT3RS.I think.

Braking before the chicane, the brakes are easy to adjust. Of course, even the normal brakes of a Porsche are very easy to adjust, but the PCCB has deep pockets. You slowed down a little too much.or "You're slowing down a little too much.Whenever I think, "I've got it," I simply adjust my foot pressure lightly, and the vehicle body is quickly aligned to the point and speed I have targeted in my mind.

I'm sure some of the other high-performance supercar brakes, etc. work wonderfully well, and I'm sure some of them have the same or better braking power alone, but this controllability, thisI guess it feels right to the human senses, 'Porsche brakes'.I think.

General comments on GT3 on the circuit

This was the first time I brought my GT3 to the track, and my first thought was.I'm not getting on at all. That is to say, "I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do it. I had become quite accustomed to driving on public roads and felt like I could handle the GT3 as I wished, but this was a complete illusion.

The GT3 has hidden expressions and abilities that are not shown at all on public roads, and when they are unleashed, it is a clear reminder that the driver's skill is clearly of a lesser caliber.

The GT3 has tremendous athleticism and will go reasonably fast no matter who is driving it. Even if you make a mistake in line taking or braking, you will be able to recover a significant portion of the time with its performance. On the other hand, if its athletic performance could be used more aggressively and used to shave timeGT3 will show us a world further up the road.I think.

My impression was that I have not yet been able to bring out its kinetic performance in a positive direction, and that it is only being used to cover my mistakes and lack of skill. So, I am still working on the "I don't know how to get around GT3.I felt that I was in the right place.

This time, there were many cars running and the classes were mixed. Due to yellow flags and red flags, not a single clear lap could be taken, so we were not able to get a proper time measurement.

Currently, Porsche's official smartphone app, "Porsche Track PrecisionToday, I am practicing on Gran Turismo SPORT at home while analyzing what went wrong and what went right with the vehicle data and video footage obtained from the "Mere Old Man". I would like to drive on a circuit again in the near future.

Excuse my first comment. I sometimes drive in Suzuka with SMSC. Do you have a circuit clause in your insurance?
I can't race mine, but if I go to a SMSC track day or something, they offer a warranty in case of an accident on the track, so I can concentrate on driving without having the price of a GT3 flashing in my mind while driving (lol). I am planning to take a professional lesson at SMSC next February 11 and devote myself to driving a Porsche. Please teach me a lot when we meet again. Excuse me.

Thank you for letting me know! I will let my husband know.

      >I plan to take a professional lesson at SMSC next Feb 11 and devote myself to driving a Porsche.
      Oh yes!!! That's great!
Suzuka Circuit is a difficult course, so it will be very challenging to drive.

I look forward to meeting you someday... ^^^!

The price of the GT3 flickers in my mind.
I understand your feelings about the phrase "I'm not sure I can do it".
In addition, the GT3 is a very valuable car that cannot be bought new unless there is enough money to buy it, and it is not unreasonable to think about what would happen if it were to happen.
Of course, I've heard that vehicle insurance does not cover vehicles on the circuit.

It's a flicker (laughs) I think I could go all out if it was Gran Turismo...lol.

      I am really impressed with people who can drive aggressively on the circuit;
