Note e-POWER Nismo S delivered! What do Porsche owners think!

Reviews & Test Rides

My husband has been looking for a used car for his own commute since last year.Nissan Note e-POWER NISMO SThe Nismo came in the mail. My husband has been using this car for commuting as well as touring to Shikoku and driving on the Ashiyu Driveway since it was delivered, so I decided to ask him what he thought of the Nismo.

Nismo came to our house.

Unfortunately, it was raining on the day of delivery. My husband had decided to leave work that day and go directly to the dealership to pick up the Nismo.

After signing the paperwork and having the warranty and maintenance explained to me, I received the car early. I am used to driving my mother's Note e-POWER X, so I didn't have any problems with the usability of the car when I got into it.

My husband said.

."What was your first impression after driving out of the store? When I hear the word

I tried to accelerate in ECO mode, but it was too slow.Very powerful compared to the regular Note e-POWER.I felt like I was in the right place. With a normal notebook, IStarting out in ECO mode, the vehicle body feels a bit heavy. However, the NISMO S accelerated smoothly without feeling the weight of the car. It was like a compact car without feeling underpowered at all, and I thought that there must be very few people who would find this car sluggish.

And. ."In fact, are the contents of a regular notebook and a notebook NISMO S totally different? When I hear the word

The motor in the NISMO S is 500 kg heavier than the Note. It's equipped with the same specs as the motor in the Serena e-POWER.No, it's not.
I checked and found that the horsepower was 100 kW (136 PS)/2985-8000 rpm and the torque was 320 N-m (32.6 kgf-m)/0-2985 rpm. These numbers may not sound like much, but they are.A closer look at the number of revolutions at which torque is generated: "0-2985 rpm."I'm sure you'll agree. Torque of 320 Nm from zero rpm, this is the true appeal of an electric car.It feels great to generate maximum torque from the moment you step on the accelerator pedal.Na.

He said.

I have driven this NISMO several times, and it is true that the moment you step on the accelerator pedal, the acceleration is like a linear motor car, a feeling I have never experienced before.(I've never ridden in a linear motor car.)

What is the ride quality of the Note Nismo that you are interested in?

My husband saw the NISMO reviews and videos beforehand.Ride is quite hard. Many people said that they were a little worried about it, but when they actually rode it, they said they personally did not think it was that hard.

Average foot hardness of imported cars + αI guess. HoweverIt may feel a little uncomfortable for those who are used to soft domestic feet.I don't. I don't feel the big bumps and uncomfortable thrusts of a runaway tuning car, even on rough surfaces, butShaking and up-and-down vibration at large input are not eliminated, and there is some clutter.I wonder.
I also wish they'd spend a little more on the dampers. Also, NISMO's standard seats are quite thick, which may help with the ride quality.

This was the case.

I actually rode it myself and personally it didn't feel hard at all, smooth and "Eh, if you say this is hard, I guess you can't drive a Porsche with a hard ride...I thought, "I'm sorry.

As for the ride, my husband says

Is the ride flat? If you ask me, there are flatter cars out there, so I can't give it a perfect score. Well, I would say it is at an acceptable level. Of course, there is no problem when the pavement is clean, but when the pavement is dry, it is not a problem. When passing through a series of wave-like irregularities at a certain speedThe damping cycle of the damper does not match the damping cycle of the damper at such times.Slightly strong vertical shakingThere are times when
And if we're talking about hardness alone, the Porsche is harder. The ride quality is better in a Porsche.I wish the feet of the notebooks had more dampeners that absorb shock quickly and smoothly.

This was the case.

Indeed, I also had occasional "vertical shaking" that lasted for a few seconds on some roads, but I don't think it's a problem at all when driving on normal roads.

I am Mina's husband. We don't drive cars for fashion or status symbols. We like cars that are fun to drive, are good industrial products, and have a sense of the maker's intention...

My name is "Taka" and I enjoy reading your blog.
I am considering buying a car for my wife for the next term, but I have to choose a car that I can enjoy driving to some extent, so I have been test-driving cars day and night. Then I read the master's impression and thought, "I see! There's also the Note!" I went to the dealership.
I test drove two vehicles, the NISMO 1200cc gasoline and the e-POWER standard model, and the gasoline model is not very good. In particular, the feeling and driving feel of the manual transmission seemed to be about two generations old. However, the "e-POWER" was an eye-opener! Having experienced the Mitsubishi iMeve and Tesla in the past, I knew the high potential of EVs, but this motor-driven system, the one-pedal concept, and the skillful control of the motor were just wonderful. I thought it was possible to have some sport driving with just pedal work.
It must be fun to have NISMO suspension on this.
Incidentally, my car is a "GOLF 5 GTI", so the NISMO suspension is OK for me personally (not for my family).
Now it is up to my wife, who is very particular about driving, to convince me.
I know I rambled on, but please keep up the good work on your blog.

Nice to meet you, I am Mina.
Thank you for visiting our blog.

Oh, you went to test drive the Note e-POWER!
The Note e-POWER is truly amazing!

I'm told the NISMO suspension is tough, but it was totally fine!
(In fact, I thought it would be perfectly OK if it were a little more stiff.)

      >The only thing left is to see if my wife, who is very particular about driving, will agree.
Oh your wife is so cool!
NISMO, I hope your wife will like it.

Thank you for your continued support!

Nice to meet you. I would like to visit your blog.
How did you feel about the one-pedal operation?
I feel that switching between a one-pedal car and a conventional pedal-operated car would be a mistake.
    I was a little concerned.

Nice to meet you and thank you for visiting our blog.
I asked my husband about it.

My mother, who is in her 70s, got used to it very quickly. Also, people who usually operate the accelerator only by simply turning it on and off may have difficulty getting used to it, but those who have learned the correct operation of stepping on the accelerator slowly and pulling it out slowly will soon get used to it.
Also, I wouldn't make the mistake of switching from that to a conventional car at all. One pedal is nothing special, just a super strong "engine brake" as in engine cars. If you can stop with the "engine brake" alone, you don't brake at all, and if that deceleration is not enough, you usually brake. There is a lot of information that dares to write that one-pedal is bad, so don't be misled".

I also drive a regular AT or MT car after driving a notebook, and I have never made a mistake ^^^.
