I was able to meet the Porsche rider of my dreams after five years!

Boxster, Cayman, 911
Porsche Boxster

Sapphire blue Boxster, wata.

The other day, I was finally able to meet someone I have been wanting to meet for a long time, after a lapse of about five years.

His name is WATA.

After working on the Alpina blog, I am now working on the Porsche Boxster blog, "Wind & Light, Boxster. The company is operating a "M". The current mileage of wata's beloved 981 Boxster is a whopping 230,000 km!(There will be more now). (There are probably more now.)

wata's blog

No one in Japan, or perhaps even in the world, enjoys touring in a 981 Boxster so much....

He is a Boxster rider in the know.

In fact, my husband has been a fan of wata's blog for quite some time. Therefore, when the blog was first launched, I too was a "fan" of the blog.wata's blog is interesting and you should definitely read it.My husband told me, "I've been looking at it a lot.

WATA's blog is, after all, easy to read and interesting.

Many car blogs are technical and maniacal in content, but even as a complete amateur when it comes to cars at the time, I found it very interesting, easy to understand, and engaging.

I think that the most important things are wata's personality (sometimes self-deprecating), the realism of his descriptions of the touring, the beautiful photos, and most of all, the youtube video he edited of the touring....

A mixture of various elements, like thatA blog that makes you want to read it, a blog that makes you look forward to its updates.is probably complete.

My husband and Ms. wata met through a mutual acquaintance, and they have gone touring together and met when Ms. wata comes to the Kansai area.

But as for me, somehow the timing didn't work out or I didn't notice the message at the time.I want to see you someday. I want to see you someday.Five years passed by while I thought, "I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

And then, oh my God, the other day,Mr. wata is touring and coming to Kansai area. So, I received a message from him on short notice (which somehow ended up in my spam mail...lol), we arranged our schedules, and we were finally able to meet as a couple.

Porsche is a car that needs to run.

The place where we met was Ashiu Driveway.

I headed there in my car, a Carrera T, and my husband in his Cayman T.

I am a rainy girl at times like this, and I would definitely make it rain (it was raining in the morning at the time as well), so we set out hoping that the weather would somehow clear up.

Fortunately, the weather recovered and the sky was clear enough to see the mountains in the distance from the Higashi Rokko Observatory in Ashiu.

Thank God....

Mr. WATA gave the impression of being just as I had seen him on YouTube so far, gentle and gentlemanly. Not surprisingly, his voice was also just as I had heard on YouTube, and I couldn't help but think, "Wata !!!! The real WATA: !!!!I was so impressed that I almost asked for a handshake (but I was too timid to actually do so, lol).

WATA.

If you ask.I'm taking the ferry to Miyazaki this evening.and wata.

I mean, I went to Hokkaido the other day, so now I have to go to Kyushu to get the balance right."

And.

...Oh man, this guy has no idea what he's talking about at all (explosion).

I think that many Porsche drivers are attracted to this free way of life.

WATA's Boxster was so clean that it was hard to believe that it had run 230,000 km.

He himself said, "No, that's not true. If you look closely, you can see some small scratches. But in front of the beauty of this Boxster in sapphire blue with beige interior, such small scratches were completely unnoticeable.

Boxster

A Porsche is a car that has to be driven, and it has to be driven, and I was overwhelmed by the fact that even after 230,000 kilometers, there were no problems at all... Even with regular maintenance such as suspension refreshes, tire changes, and oil changes, I was reminded of the high performance and durability of the Porsche. I was reminded of this.

I need to drive my Carrera T more and more. (about 6,000 km now)

With three children, it is not possible to travel as far as I would like, but since I have yet to go touring in my Carrera T, I hope to be able to go somewhere by spring this year. (I did go touring in Okayama once.)

And when my child is a little older and a little less demanding, I would like to go on a long-distance touring trip like wata did.

It was a great pleasure to meet you WATA, even if it was only for a short time this time. We hope to see you again soon.

wata-san, I am looking forward to seeing your video of this Kyushu touring again! (Pressure w)

  1. WATA

I take my hat off to Kansai's sense of humor, as when I emailed the address you gave me, it was turned into a spam mail!
Anyway, thank you very much for the other day.
In considering the route to Kyushu, I decided to take the ferry departing from Kobe, thinking that I would be able to greet Mina & Hiro, and it was really worth it (laughs).
Although the Boxster has a decent amount of miles on it, it's not because it's out of the box or crazy (sweat), but simply because I only own this one car.
So, if you add up the mileage of the 10 or 15 Porsches you own, Hiro, I think it would be about the same. I think if you add up the mileage of the 10 or 15 Porsches you own, it would be about the same.
I appreciate your compliments about my blog and movies, but I have just started writing articles about Kyushu GT, and I have no idea when I will be able to edit the videos.
So don't look forward to it (down).

      WATA.
Thank you very much for your help the other day!

No, no, my husband's mileage these days is all combined (and not 10 or 15 cars...lol, but a bit more embarrassing, I know)
I think it is about 2,000 km per year! ^_^

I look forward to more videos and blogs!
Thank you for your continued support!
