The Story of Growing Up to Get a Porsche|Structuring Your Business for Success

What is the company's service?

Recently, the "Increased awareness of earningI previously wrote an article titled When I ordered my own first Porsche, a 911 Carrera T, at the end of last year,

'If we don't get approved for a loan, we'll give up. I'm sure it won't pass.... Considering my current financial situation, I'd rather wait two or three years before I buy."

I was thinking, and if anything, "It would be very difficult if the loan went through, I'd rather it didn't...I even thought, "I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do this. (Hey!)

Thankfully, however, I was approved for a loan, and the purchase of a Porsche became a reality. We have to make good money on this! And that's when the switch was flipped.

As such, I began to devote myself more to my own company's work and went to various senior executives for advice on how to grow my company, when I received a shocking word from one of them.

There is no service in your company right now." And.

."Tell me about your company's services.I was told, "I'm sorry," and after I had put my heart and soul into my explanation, he said, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."I don't service my own company.I honestly didn't understand what he meant when he said, "I don't know what you're talking about.

Obviously, "theWhat? What do you mean?I had a dubious look on my face, and my senior continued to speak to me like this.

You yourself are embedded in what the company is offering now, aren't you? And a large percentage of it.
Because it belongs to the genus,Inefficient, difficult to expand, and the more work that is done, the greater the individual burden. We're in a state.
By service, I mean something that doesn't have a manager or a specific person embedded in it.A system in place that provides some equal value no matter who is doing it.say.
In other words, there is no service in your company right now, unfortunately.
If you want to keep doing what you're doing, I won't say anything,I want to grow the company and make more money. I want to make our members earn more money too."Right?
Then we need to create a proper mechanism.

And.

I see. It was a bit of a shock to receive such astute advice on something that had finally taken shape little by little through repetition of hard thinking, thinking, moving, improving, and so on... but it was true.

Husband's advice.

And when I mentioned this to my husband the other day, he laughed and said something like this.

No, you're right, that's exactly what I think. You should write about this in your blog next time.

And. (So I took your advice and blogged about it.)

My husband was in the same situation as I am now, some time after he started his business, and from that point on, he seriously considered structuring his business, and now the company is able to run without problems even without him.

Rather than "After buying a Porsche, which had been a dream of his for many years, he was shocked to find that he had no time to drive it because of all the work he had to do.He said (laughs).

Effect of creating a mechanism

After receiving this shocking advice from a senior colleague, I began to focus on creating a structure for my company.

Specifically, the process of a project can be visualized, made into a manual, shared in meetings to share intentions and aims and actually try it out, and then improved as needed if defects are found there....

The process of visualizing one by one what used to be a black box is very time-consuming, and we have to deal with business meetings and production to deadlines as we have in the past.

With 24 hours in a day totally missing, and with my head on a swivel. How can we do this efficiently, with quality, and with care? These are truly days of thinking while running.

However, since I started working on the mechanism, my awareness of it has clearly changed. The change in it is that "Pay them and leave it to them. The thing is that there is a gradual increase in awareness of the importance of

Up until now, I have been the type to go at it alone.

The first company I started was almost entirely a one-man operation, and I would say the blog is run by a couple,I like to do everything alone within my reach. And, most importantly, the team was not good at it.

But to create a system in the current company, you need to delegate it to others, and because you delegate it, the fee you pay goes up.If fees are to increase, the unit cost of services will need to increase from what it is now,In order to raise the unit price, it is important to further improve quality, and to do so, we have come to believe that we must also strengthen our structure and training system so that the same level of quality can be maintained regardless of who participates in the project.

While setting a direction with this in mind, I left the work to those around me, which allowed me to focus even more on sales activities, and my work began to increase.

I am so proud of the members who are willing to run with me, who are always making mistakes, and I am still a work in progress, but I think a good cycle is beginning to come around little by little.

Be worthy of a Porsche.

In this position, there are fewer and fewer people who can give me candid advice on various matters.

But through this shocking advice from a senior, I was able toI was able to reaffirm the importance of the structure in the company's services, and by working on it, I could see a path for the company's overall growth.I think.

As a businessperson, I want to continue to challenge myself by constantly reviewing my awareness and actions, and I want to grow myself and the company by not being afraid to learn from those around me and by being open to feedback.

Porsche 911 Carrera T

And since the Carrera T delivery is coming up (more on this in a later post), I'll make sure I'm a Porsche-worthy person...And most importantly, to be in a position to afford the loan.(I'm so strapped right now that I've publicly stated that if I can't pay my mortgage, the worst that can happen is that I'll sell the house! ) I would like to continue to do my best.

I happened to attend a seminar on structuring a content business today after reading this blog post.

While there are a variety of businesses and contents, the lecturers are very vocal.
What you mentioned was the "elimination of the genus" from them.

In the professional and talent industries, the genus itself may be the selling point.
As pointed out in the article, to provide a wide range of 'services' to many people
I realized once again that it is imperative to create an efficient business structure that eliminates "gentrification.

After all, those who are in an environment where they can afford a Porsche must make sure that this part of their life is in good hands.
I recognized that they are holding it down.

It is a real learning experience.

      Thank you!
I have only experienced the gentry so far,
I'm really struggling to break out of that ^^;.

It is still a work in progress,
      We will do our best!

There are fewer and fewer people who can give me honest advice on all kinds of things."
I think that is certainly true. That is why friends and business partners who know me from the past are so valuable.
Because they are the ones who help us when we are really in trouble.

      Yes...
I am grateful for the existence of people who are willing to give me honest opinions,
I'm really starting to feel it now.

My boss at my last job was very strict and I hated him at the time ^^;.
Now I can be thankful for that.

I thought it was similar to Porsche's approach of making cars and not naming the drivers when they challenge the best time at the Nürburgring.
It is not to build a car with a set that is tailored to this professional driver, or a set that is limited to a specific circuit (like the Nürburgring Special), but a car that can be driven anywhere by anyone with ease, and can operate the gas pedal, brake, and steering wheel even at high speeds, which is why it is the Porsche that car lovers long for so much.

I am getting power to do my best in my work while reading your blogs, Hiro-san and Miwa-san.

      Thank you!

      Porsche, I see!
Hearing this episode, I was more and more impressed with Porsche,
I love that kind of ism,
I wondered if this was the reason why they could continue to produce sports cars with a sense of oneness between man and horse.

      Thank you for everything!
Thank you for your continued support!

  4. Long live Porsche!

Good evening, I always enjoy reading your articles. I inherited the business from my father, and it is difficult for me to systematize it due to the fact that I am a qualified worker. I am trying to systematize to the maximum extent possible. I think Porsche raises the standard for everything.
