I made a video of the engine sound of an air-cooled Porsche 911 (964C2) .

My Family's Car Life

Summer sleep ends, 964

An air-cooled Porsche 911 (964C2) has been in summer sleep since early July. "I'm not sure I'd let them run in traffic where the temperature is over 38 degrees...So, my husband had to cut the battery.

I don't drive my air-cooled Porsche 911 (964C2) in mid-summer, so I'm 'summer sleeping' off the battery.

However, the 964 went into summer sleep unexpectedly quickly.(My husband was happy to put her to summer sleep, but she wanted to ride.)The other day, for the first time in months, I was allowed to drive too. And within minutes of starting to drive, I had this thought.

I don't remember the 964 being such an easy to drive and such a fun car....

When the 964 was delivered last fall, my first impression was.Certainly fun, but a car that requires driving skill from the driver. It was. I was honestly surprised to find that the 964 was completely different from the Panamera.

In the 964, the car's behavior is left almost entirely to the driver's skill, as if theTried and tested by 911.I remember well how nervous I was throughout the entire driving experience.

The steering wheel was also heavy, and when taking a turn at very low speeds, the car surprisingly did not turn, making me wonder why it was so difficult to maneuver at all for such a small car.

However, when I drove the 964 this time a few months later, I didn't feel the difficulty that I felt before, but ratherFits the driver and feels fun to drive. The first time I saw it, I was I couldn't help but take to Twitter and

When I tweeted this, a follower made the following comment.

I think it's because I've become a better driver. The depth of Porsche's nostalgia is that you can feel great by doing little things like letting off the gas pedal when making a turn.

You think my driving is getting, um, better...!

As I read the comments I received, I couldn't help but smile (lol).I now drive more attentively to the car's voice than before.I'm sure it is.

These days, I drive my beloved BMW 320i manual car almost every day, and every time IAccelerator/brake work, clutch operation, steering wheel operation.to be as smooth and courteous as possible.

Sometimes I get distracted and say, "You know what?Ah, now that was a bit of a shift shock.Whenever there is a situation in which I have to ask myself, "What was wrong with that?(Which makes me wonder where I'm going with this.)

The Depth of Porsche

As I received in a comment on Twitter, "Porsche is truly a car with deep pockets.I think again, "I'm not sure how to drive a Porsche. Porsche is tough on very novice drivers like I used to be, but I can feel it with all my senses, hear the car's voice, andOnce the car starts to open up to you, it becomes instantly more enjoyable.

Every time my driving skills improve, driving becomes more fun, and every time I step on the gas pedal, turn a corner, or brake, I am more impressed.

Porsche must have beenA car that is hundreds of times more profound and fun than I thought it would be.I guess it is. I'm talking about Porsche owners.

I've finally finished breaking in after 100,000 kilometers and I'm still driving my 30-year-old Porsche."

The more you drive a Porsche, the more enjoyable and enriching the driving experience becomes, and the longer you drive it, the less likely it is to break down.

The more I know about Porsche, the more I think Porsche is amazing, and the more I drive Porsche, the more I become a fan of Porsche.I'm going to be a better driver. Oh, I wish I could drive better and better.

And recently, while looking at a car sensor, I was mumbling to myself, "If I were to buy a Porsche myself, I would buy a manual transmission car," and my husband heard me say something like that.

What's going on with you lately? You used to say you had no idea how to ride a manual transmission, but you've really changed 180 degrees.

He is laughing hysterically. I guess I, too, am being dragged into the Porsche swamp steadily, unknowingly. It's frightening.

therefore(Why?)I made a video of air-cooled Porsche, 964, which will be a short video as we don't have much material of engine sound and images yet. We hope you will enjoy it.

    Hello Mina and sir.

I heard it over and over again.
I love the old school 964 sound!

Personally, I like it best around 4000-6000.
It's not so easy to get a speed of nearly 6,000 on a normal road, even in 2nd gear.
I remember that the first time I went to the "Motegi" was over 100 kilometers, so realistically it would be difficult, but I would like to make a selfish request if there is a next time, by all means (lol).

I can't stand that unique air-cooled sensation of the rustling sound (not in a bad way) approaching a single clear sound as the rpm rises.

That's true... I would love to go to Germany and drive on the autobahn and record the audio (laughs).
      I'll tell my husband again!

Thank you for your continued support.
