Information about Porsche

Voices from the Porsche Blog

I launched this Porsche blog in June 2017. I decided to run the blog in earnest with the help of my husband, and migrated it from Hatteb to its own domain in April 2018.

From there, I have continued to make improvements and write articles day by day, and it has been three years.

So far, after exchanging advice on purchasing a Porsche, "I bought it!I've had people contact me and say, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. This blog is the reason i bought my Porsche! We have received many comments such as

Thank you very much.

Porsche Panamera

And the other day my husband and

I've gotten so many messages from people saying they bought their Porsche because of this blog.I wonder how many in total they have received.

So we decided to count them.

People who have purchased a Porsche

I immediately went through the messages I've received on my blog and comments on social networking sites. We received a whopping 57 comments saying that they had purchased a Porsche after reading this blog.

We may have received a little more than that to be exact, as we have not been able to track down some of the older comments, Twitter mentions, etc.

The following is a breakdown of the models purchased.

Boxster / Cayman: 27
Panamera: 12
911: 14 cases
Macan / Cayenne: 3
Taicang: 1 unit
Total: 57

I can't believe you've already contacted me about purchasing Taikan...! Amazing...!

Porsche Taikan

Here are some excerpts from the messages we received.

November 2019.992 elementary Carrera ordered and delivered on 4/11, the first weekend of the declared state of emergency. The first time the company was founded, it was in the process of being reorganized into a new company.
It was the article on steering geometry that brought me to this blog.
I have been hooked on the article ever since, and when I went to my local PC to try it out, it brought back old dreams and I ordered it two weeks later. Thanks to this blog I was able to remember the dreams I had left behind.

Thanks to this blog, I was able to fulfill a dream I have had since I was a boy and today I took delivery of my first Porsche (992 left hand drive!). I have been waiting for 9 months for my first Porsche (992 left hand drive!) and today I took delivery of it. This blog has given me a lot of information and above all, the courage to buy it.

Since the end of last year, I have test-driven each grade of the 718 Cayman and was really wondering which grade to choose, but then I read this blog and it gave me a push, and I also resumed ordering the 6MT.Ordering a 718 Cayman (base model)I have been working on a new project.
It looks like they are going to reassign the PDK frame to MT, so it will take a little longer to deliver...but I am looking forward to taking delivery of the car. We are looking forward to referring to you in the future.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your blog.Buying a taikan was a fortune.I have been considering my next car for a long time, and your blog helped me learn about the existence and appeal of Porsche, which was not on my initial list, and ultimately led to the purchase of a Porsche.

As a Porsche blog where you can write freely

As for the messages we receive on our blog, we read them all together as a couple, and my husband has this to say.

I am sure that only a few percent of the total number of people who send me a message like this take the trouble to do so, so even if I estimate at 10%, more than 570 people may have purchased a Porsche because of this blog behind these messages.
I'm really happy about that.

And.

We are very happy to be able to help so many people in a very small way, even though we are only freely transmitting our own experiences and thoughts. Thank you very much.(By the way, it's just a personal blog, so we don't receive a penny...lol)

with various people.Because it's a personal blog with no interests involved, I can write candid opinions. So, I hope we can continue to send out messages in our own way.

Mina.

    57 units!
    That's great.

I actually bought a 981CaymanGTS myself last fall.
    So, "at least 58 units".

Since I bought it last late fall, I have hardly been able to ride it, and now it is hibernating until spring, recharging at CTEK every two weeks due to snow conditions.
This is my first time owning two cars, a Lenspo and a 981, and I am concerned about maintenance costs, but I plan to enjoy it.

      Oh, that's right!
      Thank you for telling us!

Two very different machines with very different usages, lovely!
It would be great to run and listen to that engine sound in the warm spring.
Thank you for your continued support!

I too bought my Porsche because of this blog! It was always this blog that gave me the final push.

    I bought 4 of them in 1 year and 3 months and I regret it...no, I don't lol.

You're an astute salesman, selling that much because of your blog! I wonder if he gets any rebate from Porsche Japan.

    • Mina.Mina.

      Yoshikichi.

I see that you did! Glad to hear it, thank you!

      >I have bought 4 of them in 1 year and 3 months and I regret it....no, I don't lol.
Oh my gosh that's so awesome...!
In this recession, you are doing a great job of turning the economy around, and it's amazing!
I joke with them, "If I had a rebate from Porsche, I would have bought a Porsche right now.

  3. bar duck

    I always read your blog.
I am a seller, not a buyer, based on your blog.
In reference to last year's article about how we were able to sell at a higher price by gathering buyers together for simultaneous evaluation and bidding, I'd like to share with you a story that I've been working on.
We also applied for a lump-sum assessment of our 997 on CarSensor, and we had over a dozen companies come together on the same day to purchase our 997 for 300,000 yen more than we had expected.
Initially, I was trying to sell it to the public by posting it on Carsensor and goo through a car dealer I knew, but the response was not as strong as I had expected.
We lowered the price in stages, but there were only a handful of inquiries that seemed like cold calls.
I realized that most people buy expensive cars at real stores, not on the Internet. I realized that most people buy expensive cars in real stores, not on the Internet. When I sell my car next time, I will put it up for auction at a aggressive price at first, and if it goes through the auction, I will ask the highest bidder on the day to buy it through a lump-sum assessment.

    • Mina.Mina.

      Mr. Bardach.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

      >Most people buy high-priced cars in real stores, not on the Internet? I realized that most people buy expensive cars from real stores, not from the Internet, and I decided that the next time I sell my car, I will put it up for auction at a strong price at first.
If the bidding is good, I will go with the method of having the place that bid the highest on the day of the batch assessment buy it.

I see... that's how it works!
You can learn a lot by doing it. I'm learning a lot.

I would be happy to learn more from you.
Thank you for your continued support!

Nice to meet you, I always enjoy reading your work.
I also became interested in Porsche because of this blog, found it fascinating, and finally bought a used 997 last August.

I wondered what a Porsche was like. I thought about it every day, and decided that I had to drive it and experience it for myself, but there were times when I got scared in front of the actual car and the contract....
Finally, I took the plunge and bought it because you only live once and you have to enjoy it.
Is it unpopular with the public? It is a 997 of the laugh, but it is quite a lovely car. Naturally, the safety equipment is not as good as the latest cars, but the ride quality and atmosphere are good.
Most of all, it's wonderful to be a part of that history.

Since I have only been a Porsche driver for a short time, I have not been able to get out of the feeling of being driven, but I hope that one day I will be able to ride a Porsche as easily as I want to.

I found your blog posts very helpful in my purchase, and you also write very well. I am not a good writer at all, so that is also very helpful.

The emergency declarations continue, but I hope you will take care of yourself and continue to enjoy your blog.
I am looking forward to it.

      Oh congratulations!!!
997, my husband and I really like it. The silhouette is beautiful and cute, and I think the NA engine must be very comfortable ^^^.

      >I have only been a Porsche rider for a short time, so I have not been able to get out of the feeling that I am being forced to ride it.
      Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I feel as if Porsche is testing me, telling me that I won't be able to drive it easily ^^;

Thank you for all your care and concern.
I hope to be able to go out without worrying about it soon.
Thank you for your continued support.

  5. SAM

I, too, based my decision to purchase on this blog!
Due to various restrictions, I had been driving a number of Mercedes Benzes and BMWs, and at first I was satisfied...
I knew I wanted to drive a car I like to enjoy my one and only life.
I look forward to seeing more of their everyday life with their Porsche.

By the way, I just bought a Macan S demo car from Porsche Center.
I spend my days dreaming of buying a Taikan next year...

    • Mina.Mina.

      Mr. Sam.
      Thank you!

      >By the way, I just bought a Macan S demo car from Porsche Center.
I spend my days dreaming of buying a Taikan next year...
Oh yes!!! I imagine the Macan, a sporty SUV, must be great fun (I have yet to drive one...)
Tycans are really cool, too, and if you do buy one (LOL), I'd be happy to learn more about it!

  6. engraved on a piece of wood

    Nice to meet you.
Always a pleasure to read you!

I am currently choosing various options for my Cayenne coupe, and I am wondering whether or not to install a rear axle steering wheel.

I've heard that there are benefits to small turns, driving stability, roll control, etc. If you know of any benefits of this option, including parking, I would appreciate it if you could let me know!

Also, I wanted to order a PSCB for dust control, but for some reason they can't produce it in the home country, so I'm thinking of installing a PCCB, which I've been curious about for a while.

    Sorry for all the questions.

    • Mina.Mina.

      additionally
Thank you for visiting my blog!

Oooh, a Cayenne coupe! So cool... so jealous...!

      >I am wondering whether or not to install rear axle steering.
I asked my husband about the rear axle on the Cayenne.
Cayenne is a small car from the start, so I don't think it's necessary to install it.
The driving stability is not a problem, and unless you want to drive the Cayenne on a mountain pass or drive it hard, you can use the Cayenne for a long time.
I don't think I need to put it on," he said.

I drive my Cayenne daily and park it in all sorts of parking lots.
I have never had any trouble parking my Cayenne, which does not have a rear axle, and I have never had any trouble parking my Cayenne.
(I rather cut back and forth on the notes because they are not as flexible...).
Roll is not a concern unless you are driving around tight curves in Ashi Ari, etc.

With regard to the PCCB, my husband
I don't think Cayenne needs the PCCB because it is so comfortable to ride without it.
If it were me, I wouldn't put it on. Sure, the wheels would get dirty, but the PCCB is so expensive, I don't think I could afford the cost of a car wash...lol."
      He said.

I hope that answers your question...
      Thank you for your cooperation.

  7. SevenWinds

is one of the people who referred to this blog to make the purchase.

I feel that the various articles I have read have lowered the bar for Porsche, an expensive car that I admire but never understand its value based on practicality alone.
Especially, there was very little information about the Panamera, except for a short test drive report by a journalist. In my case, I was initially considering the Macan GTS, but my wife didn't like the oraganic style of the SUV, and the Panamera was perfect for our family's tastes. The information in the owner profile on this blog was very helpful, especially since it was a hybrid, which is a new area for us.

I think this is definitely a UNIQUE site in Japan that provides valuable information from the user's perspective. I am looking forward to more in the future. Thank you very much.

  8. Ryo.

I am always interested in your blog.

I actually bought a 718Cayman at the end of December.

    I'll buy a Porsche in my 20's when I'm a kid.
I was thinking, "I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not," so I bought it when I noticed it.

Here is the blog post on the purchase
Thank you for all the help.

Of course, I have been referring to it since I purchased the product.

Life has become even more enjoyable since I bought the Porsche ^ ^ ^.

When the weather gets a little warmer, and spring approaches, we'll be able to
I am sure we will be able to drive more and more on fun roads, and our days will become more and more enjoyable ^^.

My own father's Panamera and my own Boxster purchase were definitely the result of reading this blog all over.
I just wanted to comment on this title to let you know that there are at least 2 other Porsche buyers besides "at least 57 Porsches" lol.
Looking forward to your future blogs!

And a Porsche with a father and son is too good to be true...

Both the Panamera and the Boxster are very dear to our family.
      I am really happy.

      Keep up the good work!

  10. Kei_982

I have been reading your blog for some time.

    I owned a 981CaymanGTS.
    I ordered a 718CaymanGTS4.0_PDK last September and
GTS4.0 is currently sailing in the North Atlantic off Senegal.
The tone of the 981CaymanGTS is so good that I wanted to own it forever.
    I decided to replace it.

    987Cayman → 981Cayman → 981CaymanGTS → This time 718CaymanGTS4.0
and this is my fourth Cayman.

I hope you will continue to enjoy our site.
I would like to go to Ashiu once the infection is over.

It is amazing that you have been able to come to Cayman so many times over...

You are very familiar with the Caymans...!
Please let us know when you take delivery of your GTS4.0, including the differences from your previous Cayman.
I would be happy to learn more about it.

My husband often goes to Ashiu.
I look forward to meeting you someday.

Nice to meet you, I always enjoy reading your blog.

I too was pushed by this blog to buy a 992 911 Carrera Cabriolet (Gentian Blue Metallic).

It's an expensive purchase, so articles on test drives and simulations of what options to add.

    It was very helpful.

The order was placed in November of the year before last, before Corona, so if I hadn't been able to make a decision at that time

I think it was a sneaky procrastination.

Now I can happily go out with my car on the weekends. Thank you!

I support your blog. I know it must be tough raising a child, so please continue without strain.

  12. Yota

Nice to meet you, I have enjoyed reading your blog for about 3 years now.
I have always admired Porsche's Cayenne, but when I started reading this blog, I gradually wanted a Panamera.
And finally, after three years, last September, I ordered a Panamera GTS!
Finally, the car is due for delivery in 8 days!
Now looking back at past articles on GPS radar detectors, etc.
I have been reading and thinking about buying a radar after all.
Very informative articles and I think it is the best Porsche blog out there. Keep up the good work.

    • Mina.Mina.

      >I ordered a Panamera GTS last September!
Oh Panamera GTS...! That's so awesome!
The GTS has a different atmosphere from others, it's cool, and it's a sporty car.
      I envy you...!
Thank you for reading various other articles ^^.

  13. Kotarou.

Nice to meet you. I have been reading you irregularly.
I thought maybe I shouldn't hold back on the things I like after all.
    I purchased a 718 CaymanS.
It is often compared to the 981, but the turbo has a great punch.
I am grateful to this blog for giving me a step forward that I had not been able to take.

    • Mina.Mina.

      Mr. Kotarou.

      >718 CaymanS.
      Oh yes!!! Congratulations!!!
The 718 is a good car with great performance, easy to drive, and insanely well built!
And if it were an S, I think it would be interesting, with a sense of power!

Thank you for your continued support!

    mina

Nice to meet you for the first time.

I always enjoy looking at your site.
I also bought a 981 Boxster GTS after reading this blog and watching YouTube.
I was finally able to find it.
I am transferring from an elementary 981 Boxster.
After switching, I found out that the GTS is a sports chassis, so the ride feels much stiffer than the bare PASM, 19-inch.
To be honest, the sound of the bare sports exhaust might have been more pleasing with its high tone.

It's a good thing we know when we part ways.
    Otherwise, GTS is good.

We look forward to passing each other again on the road somewhere.

Keep up the blogging, YouTube, parenting, and all the other fun stuff you do!

Glad I could be of some help!

Like you said, what you're experiencing in both cases is what you'll find out.
I am sure there are many.

I am sure that the sound of the GTS engine will become better and better as you drive it.
My husband also goes on a lot of runs, so it's really possible that we might cross paths somewhere (laughs).

I look forward to working with you on that one!
Thank you for your continued support!

    Hello.

I see from the comments section that so many of you have seen this blog and bought a Porsche!

I had a Boxster before this blog started.
    By reading this blog.
In replacing my wife's car, which she wants to buy "an SUV because I want to load it with stuff."
    What about Cayenne?" and
Next time you're in the market for a new large sedan, would you consider a Panamera for its handling over comfort performance?"
'When I change my sports coupe, do I go for the 911 that I thought was unnecessary for my lifestyle?'
I began to think about it and so on.
I like used cars, so I don't buy (or can't buy) new cars.

It would be nice to have a banner that says, "Click here to purchase a Porsche." (^^^)

    • Mina.Mina.

      Mr. Paul.

When you're wondering what to buy for your next car...
It really makes me happy and happy ^^.

I hope this blog will be of some help to you in this process.

      >It would be nice to have a banner that says "Click here to purchase a Porsche. (^^^)
      It's true! LOL!

    Good evening.

Always a pleasure to see you here!
    I've driven a BMWm6, then a GranTurismo mc, and now I'm thinking about driving a 911.
I had no one around me who drove a 911, so I couldn't get my hands on a car like that.
I've been reading this blog and I'm always discovering new things through Porsche.
Most of all, I had a lot of fun through Porsche.
It inspired me to take a step forward and ride it! I was able to take a step forward.
At the same time I was thinking that, I was introduced to a 991.2gt3 (PDK) with less than 5000km on it last December, so I bought it and it was delivered to me (lol).
I'll be following your blog as a Porsche driver from now on!
Thank you for the opportunity to take the first step in the purchasing process!

    Hi,

I ended up buying a 2021 Miami Blue 718 GT4. PCCB, bucket seats, manual transmission, and some other stuff I didn't really care about. can't get over it.

    • Mina.Mina.

      To Joseph
      Congratulations!
You might be looking forword to delivering of your new car!

  18. Joseph

I said before I rented a GT3 at PEC in LA and after that I told myself I am ok without buying one. But I got to hit redline a few times and I was satisfied. I told myself I was ok with a Spyder. Even then, I also liked having no car payment and debt... it was on the back of my mind but I didn't really move forward with it.

Few weeks later, my friend convinced me to look for a Spyder or GT4. I made an appointment with the dealership to purchase the GT4, but it did not have extended leather or stitching, so I asked to put a deposit on a new build instead. But they ran out of build slots this year, so we had to settle for whatever inventory was in the US... I made an appointment with the dealership to purchase the GT4, but it did not have extended leather or stitching, so I asked to put a deposit on a new build instead. But they ran out of build slots this year, so we had to settle for whatever inventory was in the US... I didn't want anything red or silver or PDK but everything available was a combination of those. They were cheaper, but I knew that if I didn't get the blue one I would definitely regret it.

In the end I paid a lot more than I thought I would, but the story is also just as important.

I went from sleeping on the carpet for three months, working until 10-11 PM every night, to taking a huge paycut and having to deal with a ton of debt, but and now cashing out on real estate... Leaving in the middle of a meeting in the middle of the day in the middle of the week to buy a GT4 is a pretty nice story too haha story too haha

Still can't get over the fact I wake up knowing this is mine.
