The New Panamera GTS!

Today, Porsche announced two new models: the “Panamera GTS” and the “Panamera GTS Sport Turismo.”

So, let’s dive right into the key points from today’s October 16 press release.

Point ① Equipped with a 4-Liter V8 Turbo Engine

While the GTS versions of the 911 and others are positioned as tuned versions of the S or 4S models, the Panamera GTS traditionally features a turbocharged V8 engine, and this new model continues that tradition.

The new Panamera GTS is powered by a 4-liter V8 engine delivering 338 kW (460 hp) and 620 Nm of peak torque. Coupled with the standard sports exhaust system, it offers a more emotional sound and driving experience.

Point ② Enhanced Driving Performance

Both the Panamera GTS and Panamera GTS Sport Turismo accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (with the standard Sports Chrono package), far surpassing the performance of previous models. The top speed reaches 292 km/h for the Panamera GTS and 289 km/h for the Sport Turismo.

The transmission is an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox. The all-wheel-drive system uses electronically controlled PTM (Porsche Traction Management) for sporty and direct handling. Additionally, it features a PASM sports chassis that lowers the ride height by 10 mm.

Point ③ Sportier Design and Exterior

As with previous GTS packages, the new model features black-finished headlights, but now the front end and lower rear are also finished in black, deepening the black accents. This creates a sport design package that emphasizes a more athletic appearance.

The rear wing follows the two-stage deployment style of the Turbo model. The front turn signals also adopt the twin-line design seen on Porsche Turbo models, matching the number of crests on the badge. Additionally, the GTS models come standard with 20-inch Panamera design wheels.

Point ④ Alcantara-Focused Interior

The new Panamera GTS comes standard with a sports design package featuring an Alcantara-based interior. The steering wheel is a multifunction sports wheel trimmed with Alcantara and equipped with gear shift paddles.

Optional interior customizations include a two-tone Carmine Red and Crayon color scheme, GTS logos, and various other design enhancements.

As of today, the release date and pricing have not yet been announced, but we’ll continue to keep a close eye on news about the Panamera GTS.
