How much luggage can actually fit in the trunk of a Porsche Panamera? I actually loaded a suitcase in the trunk.

Trunk of Panamera

I previously wrote an article titled "The Panamera's Trunk Fits Pretty Well."

→[Past Article] Don't let anyone say that Porsche is a car that can't carry luggage - the trunk of the Panamera is quite large.

It occurred to me how big it actually is. Looking at the specifications of the new Panamera Turbo on the website, I sawThe capacity of the trunk is marked "500 l".(The capacity of the 4E Hybrid is 405l, so it depends on the model)

500l...(-_-)

I wonder how much 500l is. By the way, it seems that a full bath is 200 liters.(It seems to me that most bath salts are written as one cup per 200l)So does that mean more than 2 cups of bath water?

...I don't know even more (-_-)

So I loaded the trunk with luggage to see how much it would actually hold.

The Panamera's trunk is spacious.

Here's what the back of the new Panamera looks like

This is what it looks like when the trunk is opened to its maximum extent.

The inside is probably more spacious than the image everyone has of "Porsche can't carry luggage.

(Sorry for the dirty left side...)
By the way, in my familyAnti-slip netlaid out. On each side of the trunk, there are pockets for

It also comes with a net so you can keep car wash related items that you would always keep in your car. First I decided to measure the actual size before loading the luggage.

How big is the trunk of the Panamera?

I measured it with a measuring tape.

Width 92 cm, depth 103 cm, height 37 cm<

It was. But I am clumsy with my hands, so I think there may be an error of around 1 cm...(-_-) Now that I know the size, I actually tried to put in my luggage. First, let's try one suitcase for a test.(LM size for 3 to 5 nights)When I put it in, it settled like this.

I can afford it.

Next, try putting in two suitcases. The second suitcase, by the way, isGenuine Porsche Rimowa suitcase 33LThe following is a list of the most common problems with the "C" in the "C" column.

Yes, there is plenty of room. There is still space in the front, so I put a baby stroller in. This is a small stroller sold at Nishimatsuya.

Even with this much in, it still looks like it will fit.

If it can hold two suitcases and a stroller, that's quite enough.

Wish I could have verified this by putting a golf carry bag in it.By the way, my husband and I don't play golf, so we don't have a carry-on bag at home...But I'm looking at the internet and it looks like it's going in.

Whether or not the trunk closes.

Just note the height. Maybe because this time the Panamera has a beautiful streamlined back, closer to the 911 (?). ,.Trunk will not close if too tall items are loaded in the front.I'm not sure. Try, suitcase sideways?

If it was this way, it closed with no problem. If I put it vertically, would it be difficult...?

This is still the case, but it has been put away without problems.

But if you bring it to the front a little bit...

Does not close. (Stops in the middle)

(But if you remove this seat and trunk divider cover, you can load more with some height)

Well, we don't often carry that much luggage, and in the past we've been able to fit our family of four in two suitcases, including souvenirs, on a trip without a problem, so I think that's plenty!

So now let's test it on the Boxster!

Thanks for making me enjoy reading your blog!
In today's blog, there is a picture of a trunk with a net in the side pocket, is this net an option?
I have a Panamera4E-Hybrid delivered in January this year, but I have not seen the internet (I will drive it tomorrow, so I will check it...)

We support your daily blog updates \(^o^)/.

PS: I just purchased the complete set of car seats listed on this blog and they're coming in very handy!

My husband told me that the net is standard, not optional, but that the 4E Hybrid has a smaller trunk capacity (405lbs) because of the electrical equipment? However, he said that the 4E hybrid has a smaller trunk capacity (405liters) because of the electric device (electric motor?), so it may not have a net.
Maybe it varies a lot from model to model!
